  2. Bye, hope to read you again soon when you are enlightened

  4. What happens is that the ego always want something. But, if you want it, is because you don't have it. So... the ego says "I will get it in the future". When it gets it, it's disappointing. It's not what he expected, because in the imagination the ego created and idea of what that will be and is never close to what is in reality. So, he begin to search more, and to seek... and is never whole, never complete. Is always searching for a new thing. And that's what happens with enlightenment, he converts it in an object that you can have in time. And that is preventing you to see that you are NOW reality. You are NOW whole, and complete.
  5. Send me The Concept for me too!!!
  6. Time is created by the mind. The only real thing is the NOW. Now is the only thing that exists, when a second pass that NOW that passed is in our memory. And our memory doesn't capture the true moment, it distort it. The future is in our imagination. That creates an idea of time, that is psychological. Created by the mind. There's no past and no future, only NOW. You have to read Eckhart Tolle "The Power of Now"
  7. He also said that miracles are not important, even they can be manifested once you know who you really are. In John 10:37-38
  8. Just watch and arrive at your own conclusions, don't believe anyone. You are the way.
  9. @zoey101 there's many perspectives, we all see reality from our experiences and we explain it in the way that it make sense to us. Just take what your intuition tells you is true, and continue investigating always with an open mind. Search for the answers inside you. I always listen to everything and I don't think I ever had the "ultimate truth", I am always open to learn new things. Don't get confused because everybody has different perspectives or I will better say "different ways of saying the same thing". For example, I continue in my experience seeing that enlightenment is another word for salvation. Others can see that differently. But, remember one Zen story that is very true... the story of the elephant and the blind monks. Alan Watts explain some of the things I told you in this video, watch it when you have time. Alan Watts is super interesting and he was a ordained as an Episcopal priest, then he continue studying others religions and philosophies , he's really good.
  10. Oh my god... that is really bad. But that's because those who want to teach are blind too... sadly.
  11. Emotional Freedom Techniques https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emotional_Freedom_Techniques Wikipedia to the rescue! Lol
  12. @zoey101 I had the same problem like you. It was very difficult to me to understand because in Christianity there's so much confusion about how to reach "salvation". For me salvation and enlightenment are the same thing. I didn't understand when Jesus said "deny yourself" what kind of denial he was talking about. Now is clear to me that he was talking about the Ego. Our "self" is the ego. When he denied the ego he was in reality fighting agains the devil, think about it. The ego is everything that we learn from the world. Our life is that, our parents, our family, friends... but Jesus was very clear that the most important things for him was his followers, his friends were those who shared the path with him. When he said "Me and the Father are one" he was saying that he was one with everything. God is everything. He also said, "before Abraham I AM". He didn't say before Abraham I was... he said I AM. Because he was so deeply identified with his true self, that is God. I have more similarities that I found in Christianity, mostly reading the Mystics, like John of the Cross, Meister Eckhart and others.... Undertanding non duality make a lot of sense with what Jesus taught, and it makes you have a more deep connection with the true Christian teachings.

  17. Lol... there's a saying in spanish that goes something like this... (I will try to translate it) There's people who sees in every problem a solution, and there's also people who sees in every solution, a problem. Lol
  18. Yeah, that's the hardest one... I am thinking that my desire of "attain" enlightenment is the problem... if there's anyone who has a problem Lol
  19. In meditation, when you sit and observe reality as is without trying to understand it, or label it, doing nothing. I know do nothing is not possible, we are always "doing" but I mean when you stop everything in the sense that you observe a table but without thinking "that's a table" or "is brown" etc... or any attributes. Same thing with thoughts, as a thought appear recognize it and let it go... like trying to be still and know that I AM lol... still the mind of labels and judgments. Like sitting in silence but also stopping everything. That's what I meant with the "do nothing" thingy.
