  1. Is that what you really want or really feel? Be sure it is not, self-denial, self-doubt, or self-hatred. (From Nithyananda Teachings)
  2. Changing self/whole... is the key to changing your "world".
  3. @Truth All of this is relevant to what @Torkys means for the intro to this thread. That being said, might I suggest also considering kindness directly towards the "vanish" archetype (meaning suicidal people). How would you answer his questions? What we can do is have patience and not use egotistic impositions or advice about depression or suicide, except that advice as general as is possible for you in your current state. The more general, the more enlightened.
  4. I'm not certain but you can do that when meditating! Tibetan bowl and Buddha meditation works for me.
  5. @Paulus Amadeus What you were describing is 100% ego bullshit, indeed.
  6. You don't need to be concerned about these emotions...respect how you feel on the inside (your concerns from the 4th and last par.) because that is who you really are. That is the way by which you are perceived.
  7. Turn off the movies! Create and meditate with art (your choice of creating in the form of art).
  8. Well, since I Am here, Do you ever feel cowardly? What made you feel that way?
  9. @alyra Every thing is conceptualing Self. A concept (ex., cat(s)) or concepts (ex., kitties and puppies) is just you. No need to analyze them. They are projections, like from Plato's cave, but they originate from your construct. You could think you are both the key and the lock. This is 100% true.
  10. @OEN Yeah, don't label and don't judge anything you are aware of during meditation. But If you perceive yourself labeling positively/negatively, restart the process.@TruthSeeker47
  11. Yes, I did. But my Higher Self wrote most of my posts, including this last one. Iwant to think he was just really angry and didn't follow through on it...
  12. vanish.....I don't know how old you are, but as you've noticed, suicide attempts are not helping this situation...also, you don't have to trust your parents. Life is not black and white. The self-construction vs. destruction. There's no vs. You could take things from the construction to destruction, or vice versa and follow either, and they would be equally valid. And you are valid. So you need to live. Another suggestion is, find a "great teacher" and/or "guardian" who doesn't criticize others and has the wisdom to be thankful for correction.....
  13. It's all ok Dreams are like a cycle, One will wake up from a dream, and One will fall into another dream, and it's all in the now, intrinsically.
  14. @egoless Are you saying we are gods already, though limited(?) we are separate and limited and think we are gods? I feel your strong compassion, but you can also choose now to enter into silence.... when you awake, You can go to silence anytime You think You should do so!
  15. Individual(?): What if I wake up, and it's really boring? Enlightened Master: Don't worry, because you will not mind ...
  16. Actually, wouldn't this indicate a great achievement for you to not accept only consistency, or as you wrote:"Groundhog Day"? Wouldnt you say the intuition of this is vital to your keeping within your spiritual path? Enlightened spiritual teacher appears to you to be inconsistent. Think about what is perfectly consistent on your--path. An immutable truth or law, like the Pythagorean Theorum, perhaps? Or whatever it may be for you. Is it helping you or guiding you forward , or is "outer" change(s)/inconsistency?
  17. @Ether What I can tell you is try to put your focus simply on the present. Wherever you are--(this path is this journey you choose)
  18. Enlightened spiritual teacher appears to you to be inconsistent. Think about what is perfectly consistent on your--path. An immutable truth or law, like the Pythagorean Theorum, perhaps? 19. @Mal True. How could one describe enlightenment state....? Describing is a way of acting and is read as being in the "world" of? "separation" And that is not found with enlightenment state.
  20. Are many of these memories related to your ego-self? A good way to access these memory, i.e., ego-self, is meditating. And one of the best "meds" for myself would be "Om mani padme hum"!
