Teal Swan was never in a cult. She made the whole thing up. The "cult leader" who held her captive, was a nice old man that was a friend of her family, that took her in to work with horses at his veterinary ranch when she was a teenager. In return she made him the central figure in her delusions. All well documented by some reporters who found her stories to be bullshit and did some digging and found this man and interviewed him. Teal is a delusional con artist.

Very much agree. So nice when everyone there is one the same page = joy, celebration and love for all. I use to be a performer at festivals like this. Mostly in the Northwest of the U.S. So many beautiful memories. To me these festivals are the height of human civilization (at least in today's age).

Which festival is this? There are thousands like this all over the world. They are equally beautiful.

I live in Seattle and it is wonderfully Green. Just the other night there was a huge lighting festival at one of our biggest parks. Hundreds of local artists made amazing lighting art installations. The whole area was lit with colorful LED lighting. There was DJs playing music. It was all free. No one did any of it for profit. They gave of themselves for the joy of others. Thousands of locals came. Exposing many lower stages to things they've never experienced before. There were no police, as there was no need. Just thousands of humans, from all different backgrounds, all coming together in celebration of life. And that is just one example of thousands that happen here in Seattle every year. It's not perfect, but it has lots of Stage Green beauty and harmony.

A) Most anyone knows not to leave anything of value in your car, so if you left $3000 of gear in your car you were asking to get it broken in to, that's on you. B) Where is the infinite Love for the methheads?

This seems to me like your contradicting your own teachings. If "Brains Do Not Exist", why are you pushing that brain differences and neurotransmitters are essential to Spirituality?

You are a character being played first person in a videogame you call your life. When you are playing a fist person videogame, and that character gets hit in the head with a baseball bat, and he 'goes unconscious', does that videogame character have a brain and it's own consciousness? No Everything in that game is made of the same thing, including the main character and the bat and the unconsciousness. The same as this game you're apart of.

Does environment matter for a 5-MeO trip? Meaning, is it suggested my surrounding are meaningful to me, like should I be in beauty, surrounded by nature? Or would just anywhere, like my room, be fine? Does it matter at all what you wake up to? Or is it like you're a new born baby, seeing everything new for the first time, so where you are would be inconsequential? Does it matter if it's light or dark /day or night?

Thanks. Good to have that perspective. I couldn't imagine doing that around people. Seems very personal to me. It's an inward journey. Other people around seems like distraction. I'm afraid to do it in my room. With reading many reports of screaming with first breakthroughs. I live with roommates, so that would be bad. So figuring doing it in my car in a secluded area for my first few breakthroughs. Once I feel comfortable with the process, I'll move to my room to continue further explorations.

I'm FB friends with him. He seems to have this issue pretty well in hand. He seems to be spending alot of quality time with his family. All is well.

I'm sure this covered already. Once you're aware that you are literally the God of all of your reality, you take responsibility for all the creation. So you 'not feeling anything' is you creating that for your reality. The answer is to take full control over the creation of your reality. Be aware that the moment is all there is. And everything in this moment is all your creation. Create this eternal moment that 'You' is ecstatically happy. Whatever the images that are happening in the moment, does not matter, you are happy and at peace. There is no meaning to reality, other than what you create.

@Leo Gura do you recommend doing that 10 -20, one trip per day, or every other day, or take more time in between? And do you mean 10- 20 trips to get to the first breakthrough, or are you saying 10 to 20 Awakening trips before you really ‘get it’?

Well of course you have no prob Just wondering what might be the average one way or another for those of us working towards our first breakthrough?

@Leo Gura Would you say the average outcome to this, is that after gradual increases and maybe 20 trys, you eventually just slide into an Awakening? Due to the comfortability of experience after so many trips, the increasing desire for more after you've experienced some positive effects, and a drive to know the truth of your existence? Or after 20 trys give or take, you'll still have to make the willful and purposeful choice to die, in order to experience God/Truth/Absolute/Infinity?

@Ampresus I didn't say move to another country. If you can't get the substances that raise consciousness to achieve an Awakening, then maybe go on a trip to a country where it's available. All Leo teaches is 100% true. This is legit way out of all your sufferings. But you have to want it. Want it more than anything. More than sex, more than admiration from others, more than your very survival. If you want it that bad, you will find a way.

Yes. If in a sleeping dream you had a camera and took a picture, that camera, the image it produces, the environment around you, and you, are all part of that dream. And everything in that dream is made of consciousness. All of reality is the same, all made of consciousness.

@Ampresus All the answers you seek for your life are right here. You hit the jackpot finding this teachings. You can spend your whole life dicking around with 'self-help' and it will get you nowhere. Working to an Awakening is the only way. Do whatever you have to do. Back pack to another country if you have to to get the substances needed. Do all the daily practices. The answers are all right here. To not do them is just you enjoying your suffering.

Time is a concept that exists in your imagination. Infinity/God is only Now. For it to be then and now and some future event is all dualities. You have been Now for eternality, and always will be Now for eternity. Mind bender no?

On one hand you have the belief that you are alive and that people die and you'll die. On the other hand is Nonduality, where all there is is consciousness. Everything exists in consciousness, including time, space, matter, energy, your life, everyone's lives, all of reality, and you and your experiences, all exists within consciousness. The real you is the eternal consciousness. So everything you think you've ever learned from other people, is just you creating that info for yourself. But made yourself forget that you were creating it. This includes everything you've ever heard about this concept of 'death'. So death is just a made up concept. You, consciousness, the creator of literally everything, can not die, as you, consciousness, is all there is and is infinite, therefore cannot end. No beginning and no end, no past and no future.

@Leo Gura I'd love for you to do a Spiral Dynamics video on Relationships and sex. From this post and many others, you seem to be clearly in a Stage Orange thinking on sex and relationships. You talk as though this is just the way it is the world. Not at all adding that there are many many communities around the world that practice Stage Green and above sex and relationships. Such as non-ownership, compersion, joy in your partner and their partners enjoying themselves, Polyamory, sharing partners without jealousy, mutual respect, honoring all involved, exploration past your boundaries of comfort and control, and most of all....love. Love for whom you're having sex with, whether it's for a night or a lifetime. These people don't have to 'hunt' for partners. It happens organically through mutual joy of living. Sex is a celebration of life. There's not judgment of a woman's sexuality, but celebration of her shedding all of societies shames, and come all in to her full sexual being that is 100% free. These communities are out there, I myself have lived this way all my adult life. Stage Orange, which is full of slut-shaming, trying to get a husband, manipulation for sex, and so on, is what you speak of above. Just like you give people hope for their own liberation through enlightenment, I would suggest giving people hope of what a higher and higher Stage is like. Teaching what can be possible through advanced Stage relationships and sex.

I know the general rule is to not mix anything with taking 5-Meo, but what about doing a little marijuana beforehand? To just get into a relaxed state going into the deep 5-MeO journey. Does anyone have any firsthand experience with this, either beneficial/enhancing, or harmful?
