  1. thank the jesus i printed it
  2. This is a great technique! A lot of stuff can come up and it will take a lot of will power to work through it, but I think that means it can actually cause results. In my experience it does
  3. I apologize if this was already posted, I tried multiple searches and scrolled through the forums, and I haven't found it. I was shocked this wasn't on the blog or on here. Johns Hopkins opened a psychedelic research institute with $17 million in funding. That's a big deal because it means there will be a broad and deep body of research, and it will be more accepted https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/04/science/psychedelic-drugs-hopkins-depression.html ^ for more info
  4. don't be fooled by golden showers. it's not real gold
  5. Has anyone watched this??? I'm like an hour in and it is so interesting. He says some seriously interesting things but also goes on psychotic rants. You could spend a lifetime analyzing this.
  6. Lots of good points. I think Leo should address them seriously. I think he has a great impact on a large majority of people but there is a certain dissonance that arises from him not being 'enlightened' as in embodying his insights and not having them be just peak experiences.
  7. I bet JP sears has a video on this
  8. @Matt23 too cold to consider lol Soka university of America. Buddhist inspired, very cool looking. great location. Stage green and up Edit, looks very promising, they have almost all of ken wilber's books in their library. Reed college. very stage green PItzer college, very green. I could list a lot more good ones that are still very orange. THese are the most spirally developed and conscious ones I have found. Edit: Buddhist universities. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1186/2196-8802-1-4
  9. I pee in my back yard multiple times a day, exposing the nuts to the light. I sure hope this has been working for me all summer
  10. Keeping this on this thread just because. I visited a farm.!!! It was a husband and wife with 3 kids. The husband had a full time job and worked around 2 hours a day. The wife and kids did a few chores but overall, there was about 4-10 hours of work done each day. They had around a 12 to 20 cows, that were fed (they grazed the pasture) varieties of different grasses that are best for cows. Grass fed and finished for those who know what that means They had like 80 chickens, raised in the best way possible, eating bugs from the cows poop and organic soy free feed. They had acres and acres to run around the house and the whole farm. They had ducks, quail, geese, and they plan to get pigs. They had apple trees and some easy crops. When I was there I was like oh my god this is exactly what I want to do. When I found out how little work this took, I realized this is actually totally practical. It can be manageable to run a farm if efficient tasks are chosen, and random shit like housing and plumbing is outsourced to experts, so it wouldn't be totally self sufficient, but I would sell food so its cool. I could have my own small farm, and even upgrade and grow more crops if I got some friends to work with me (we're all getting out of high school and I know a lot of people that are interested.) I still kind of really want to go to college though, even though it is expensive. There's so much to learn and it would be a great experience. I have access to some of the very selective colleges because I have a good resume, grades, and 99th percentile ACT (standardized test). I also feel like I should get more life experience before I really go into this life purpose. I also like psychology and want to study it in college. If I got out of college and worked somewhere for like 4 years I could save up money so that I could really get the farm thing going (if I still want to) without debt or investors. My top choice for college is probably Reed college. It's in Portland Oregon, it's super stage green (maybe some yellow) and has a meditation center. google it if you wanna take a look Please ask questions and give me advice. Am I on the right track?
  11. Whenever someone says this I always think like what if they are both gay? Will they just not get along then? they won't have any attraction to each other so can't they be friends? What about two gay people of the same gender? can friendship exist then? It has to either between them or if not then between opposite genders. too absolutist
  12. Been there done that. The only thing that'll make it easy is if you can find something else to be passionate about and want to have alone time for. e.g. this work! you're 21 you have a bunch of stuff to do
  13. I liked it too. Is invasiona real film?
  14. DId you watch the damned podcast lmao "From OP, "You could spend a lifetime analyzing this." " Yes, he doesn't make any well structured arguments, giving you a line of reasoning or evidence with which you can pursue your own investigation. He simply rants about 100 different conspiracies, making it so you could analyze it for a lifetime, and never fully invalidate or validate it.
  15. go to 37:30 and you'll see him hop from through like 3 different subjects in a minute, psychotic screaming, etc.
  16. Have you considered saving up money from your job so you can eventually leave? What kind of service do you intend to provide? As a healthcare provider
  17. I think you should plan to get out of that job. The fact that you have a lot of free time is great! Use that time to start a life purpose, and get yourself ready. Also use the job to save money. Take a moment to realize how lucky you are and grateful you are for finding resources and ideas that will help you get out of wage slavery. What are your obstacles for using your extra time to start a life purpose?
  18. boo boo ba chu Just because other beatboxing communities exist doesn't mean you can't create something. Brainstorm ideas for niches. e.g. your idea of a forum.
  19. if you become a gamer you're life will be lamer
  20. Would there really be a huge backlash with Bernie? It feels like we already got that out of the way with Trump. The ideas of Bernie are not new, in fact the election of Trump can be seen as a backlash to those ideas. Now that the backlash is over(which i'm saying could be the case), Bernie will have a somewhat smooth presidency and we will stabilize at a higher level.
  21. I was concerned about this when I started the technique but couldn't find any research on it. He talks about hyperventilation a couple minutes after 9 minutes Does shamanic breathing cause hyperventilation?
  22. DON'T DROWN. seriously be careful. Is it a strong river? If you were as capable and stupid as a toddler would you get swept away?
  23. tl dr I have noticed what you described. My mode of being was radically different before. I have also noticed that this has always been the case. For about 6 years, I have noticed that I could not recall at all how I experienced reality a couple years before. I think this has to do with me being 17 and still developing. It's hard to tell if the most recent change is from spirituality or growing up. How old are you? this could be your case
