  1. spiritually, it would make sense of course. dead meat=low prana, and consumption causes your body to absorb that low prana. However scientifically, benefits from meat (IN BALANCE!!!) are immense. Then you have your blood type diets. I am not sure if it has a big base in credibility, but it is featured on webmd, and so far has been accurate regarding both me and my whole family. Blood type A specifically benefits a vegetarian and/or vegan diet. Type B and AB also can benefit well, although they are recommended to occasionally have some fish. Its type O, the "caveman blood type" that say function muuchhhh better on meats. now if your a heavy meat eater right now, i would first focus on cleaning your meats (meaning making sure they are organic, blah blah, it has little meaning but at least its better than the crap general supermarkets have) AND UP^^^^ your intake of veggies and fruits by ALOT. this will increase your vitality like crazy and you will have no problem regarding spiritual work. Make sure you are eating so much veggies in your main meals that there is practically no room for bread, sugary sweets, etc.
  2. that guy is a huge scammer. however i am not sure, because different people function better on different diets. Theres no such thing as a diet that suits everyone.
  3. Meditation book by Sally Kempton is incredible to say the least. However it is a bit complicated, so you must take your time reading it.
  4. @egoless heres helpful article on organizing all of your research findings: http://www.iphandbook.org/handbook/ch08/p02/ can be applied to not just sciency stuff but other areas as well
  5. Escap-ing relativity? is this the goal of enlightenment or is this so hard to grasp that we cant be "alive" to grasp it?
  6. i finished the QM episode from today and my head hurts alot from complicated concepts. Dont really know how to put questions into formation, but i guess the episode said about how everything reacts to being observed and how observation distorts the result of certain experiments. We observe everything, like the elephant example, and see an elephant. How do we stop seeing the elephant as an elephant? is this was enlightenment does? we see the infinity in everything?
  7. what are the chances of being accepted to vipassana if your on the waiting list?
  8. spirit science on youtube has really good video explaining it
  9. i know im a bit late since i see you bought the supplements, but heres my rec. @iTommy Vitamin d should always be accompanied by k2 for full potential since the 2 together are key for proper absorption. As for magnesium, the BEST form is magnesium glycinate, this is absorbed quickest and doesnt cause uncomfortable loose stool. vitamin b12 sounds great, maybe more efficient if you just buy a b-complex (like the one from doctors best or solgar) (or if your from uk nutri-advanced is rly good) As for probiotics, a good way to see if your probiotic is actually a good quality one is to see if on the ingredient list they include the strain number of the bacteria for example if they write "lactobacillus rhamnosus gr-1" instead of just lactobacillus rh. Or "Bifidobacterium bifidum PXN 23" instead of just Bifidobaceterium bifidum. this is a good article on them: http://www.chinesemedicinedoc.com/probiotics-strains-are-important/ GOOD Probiotics in reality are pricey and difficult to find. one of the best cheaper ones i could find was InnovixLabs found here:https://www.amazon.com/Multi-Strain-PROBIOTIC-InnovixLabs-Broad-Spectrum/dp/B00X4U2NDK/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1520801043&sr=8-3&keywords=probiotic+strain&dpID=41oX0XSAfAL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
  10. @Haumea whats the amount of k2 your taking? basically everything that pluto said. Im not sure where you live, but trying incorporating natto in your diet, if its available. i would def take the 5000 IU Thats strange that is dropped by so much, was in change in seasons at the time?
  11. best thing is to DO leos book exercises for a full year and see how you feel. Otherwise you will never know what is good and keep on finding things that contradict one another. Maybe in some near future another guy will discuss how they dislike "kriya yoga exposed' and why is wrong etc..
  12. yes. they are very good. problem is people use them only when they get sick and stuff, so of course the nasal pathway will clog up again. U
  13. Along with planning to purchase the book list & kriya book, i want to continue with hatha, but i decided to enroll in an actual class, not youtube videos since i might be doing poses wrong. SO i found there is only one yoga studio where i live that offers hatha (ashtanga is too hard for me) but the hatha classes offered are at different times. For example one day is 9am, next is 7:30pm, then after that is 4:30pm. I read on ishas website and in yoga sutras that yoga should be practiced the same time everyday or it wont have same benefit (similar to how kriya practice should be done in the morning everyday). Am i making too big of a deal with this and just attend the times as mentioned or is that harmful in a way? Thanks
  14. dang that sucks Everything like seriously, even overcoming the urge once you will see you will be more productive. Im not sure energy-wise if it helps, but in my scenario it made me procrastinate less and have less monkey mind.
  15. id record everything in a journal, because your mind warps everything,, keeps only what feeds the ego. Start doing the nofap thing and record in your notebook daily, for 2 weeks, exactly how you feel that day/emotions/etc.
  16. you have to change the junk food man. They put you back in your meditation practice, your fitness, your emotions, everything. Another thing i think charlotte should have asked is your sleep cycle. are you going to sleep naturally or are you on your phone/laptop untill you fall asleep?
  17. looking for suggestions for some new ones to play on the theme of awakening doesn't strictly have to be about it i have already played Talos Principle, (which is probably one of the best games), and Journey.
  18. "yoga sutras" by patanjali and "hatha yoga pradipika" are really the classics you should master
