I feel like maybe you want to say something more but you hide it. Is there something more going on that is causing you to feel this way? The other conclusion I made is that you are a perfectionist. And because of your perfectionism you don't have much to look forward to, it's like you already exhausted yourself through your perfect set up. Now you are going through the dopamine low after having been through dopamine high. This is typical in narcissism. You go through the high where you push yourself to make things perfect and then you go through the low where there is nothing to expect when all you wanted is already done so you begin to feel that everything is nonsense the way you would feel after winning a video game, that you already achieved so now no more drive or motivation left. Am I right?

I have been dealing with this issue for a while now. It happened a few weeks ago when I was sitting in my office and a few of my male colleagues invited me to lunch. I went to lunch with them. When I was sitting and chatting with them, they initially started mocking my hair and then my appearance, really insulting me and calling me ugly and all sorts of names and insulting me. I was weirded out and I left the table. After that incident I didn't speak to them. But their harsh words still affect me sometimes. Because looks are so intricately tied to self esteem, especially being a woman, it feels like a direct attack on my self esteem. Their shaming and insults have gotten to me. How to deal with situations/people who insult your looks? What mindset do I need to cultivate to face such situations in the future?

I've had many relationships and currently also I'm in a relationship. It can get messy, I'll tell you that. But all said I don't regret my relationships at all, only regret is that I wasn't quicker to get out. After many relationships, you reach a point where you get a hang of them, you don't see it as a big deal and sometimes it's like a nice deal after many bad deals. I'm a die hard romantic so not having romance in my life will be equivalent to death. But from your posts I can easily tell that you are not the "relationship type." Relationships need risk taking. You might be better off without relationships. But understand that having zero relationships come with downsides. You might see a couple kissing and that could make you feel upset or jealous. Loneliness might bite you or you might feel isolated or odd. Be ready for these thoughts or effects. You will have to make yourself emotionally stronger to bypass such effects. Man is a social animal so you can't be completely alone. Although you can survive alone but you can experience deep psychological impacts. So be ready to deal with them effectively by minimizing the impact Read resources on emotional independence to deal with hangover effects of not having relationships. Focus on other ventures in life where you can dedicate yourself fully. Good luck. Don't bash yourself for not being in a relationship. It's fine. Not everybody wants relationships. @Forestluv I hope your problems go away although I don't have an exact solution for your issue. But I'm sure there is always something that can be done. Sorry to hear about your predicament It's no small price to pay But rest assured you've an incredible gift of intuition and insight.

Okay I have a question. Let's say you're told to lead a state. And you have a book of laws and amends. There is a certain law, rule, principle you follow while running this state. What if I told you that if you were to lead this state by survival, you might have to give up principle. And if you were to lead this state by principle, you might have to put the survival of the state at risk. Now you're told to pick one of the two - Survival or Principle!
