He does not mean sarcasm What he meant was that we often try to reach a compromise in relationships assuming that it would lead to some kind of progress or the relationship will heal. This is a false expectation when you are facing abuse in family relationships. We falsely assume that trying to tolerate things in the relationship is a sign of progress and eventually things will be alright.. Actually that does not happen and things get worse with time. So the sooner you give up on making progress the better. Instead of thinking that the person will become better with time and the abuse will heal or go away, it will be the opposite. This I can tell from personal experience with my parent. So the best is to stop trying to patch things. Once you recognize signs of abuse physical or verbal, it's time to cut communication and any kind of involvement.

The wisest words ever. This is the main reason why those who are abused get abused again elsewhere And many people don't understand this. They are surprised and they wonder why an abused person is attracting abuse again or not able to avoid further abuse. Because of the simple reason that they haven't gained resistance against abuse. To gain permanent resistance against abuse and avoid future instances (by being vigilant of red flags) one must fight back really hard and stand up for oneself.

There is no need to return anything. They are fine in the museums where they are. In fact if they are returned to native cultures then these cultures or countries will either sell them, they might get stolen by local thugs or they will rot because these countries either don't care about their own Artifacts or they don't have the resources to preserve and respect these Artifacts of their own ancestors. So they are safe in the London museum and let them remain there. There is no need to create stupid culture wars over some country holding your Artifacts. They are also taking good care of it. I was contemplating early morning about the idea of hate. When you face a lot of opposition when it comes to relationships or work.. And I had a couple of insights. To keep pushing through no matter what To understand that your journey is heroic. A hero's journey and its absolutely amazing. And all the hate is just a component that finally takes you closer to ultimate goodness because God loves you no matter what. If you have a sincere heart, the hate will only make you a better person inside. I mean just imagine how amazing it is that you are thriving despite all the hate, that should alone be sufficient to feel awesome because it's much easier to thrive in a supportive environment but look at you, you're still pushing through like hero in an unsupportive environment. To understand that you can't change people. That other people who don't respect you are living in their own bubble and you don't have to worry about pulling them out of that bubble Focus on progression Remember that there is always a silver lining while you are pushing forward and that's your hope. You lead by hope. Never beg for support with those who won't relent or those who don't care. Don't give a shit about those who don't appreciate what you do for them. Remember - it's never your fault. Be gentle on yourself. When these thoughts came to mind I was really very relieved and it felt like a burden was taken off my shoulders. Bright Brilliant Beautiful

His father always supported him through and through, even gave a jail interview with him. Why did Dahmer hurt people? Dennis Radar had a loving family. Why did torture people? The only example is Richard Ramirez because he had a terrible childhood but he is one of the very few examples. Even then it's not really determined whether the abuse caused it because he was on drugs during his crime spree. Defendants use child abuse /trauma as a way to get lighter sentences in court and to rake up sympathy. This often causes the death sentence to be commuted to life.

Not everyone. In fact most just suffer through life Such people like serial killers etc give victims of abuse and trauma a bad name. It's difficult for victims to seek help if they are viewed with suspicion and judgment.
