  1. I just heard a loud sound. Like something crashed
  2. I was very tensed a few days ago. You know because of the Main T problem. Now I'm free. I feel much better.
  3. @Tetcher his views aren't like that. That is all for show. His opinions on women are very outdated..
  4. Sadhguru is a bit misogynistic, if that helps!!!!!!!! He has been frequently accused of it.
  5. What would I call my sister? Wilhelmina
  6. I don't have a younger sister. But I simply imagine I have one. Let's say she is 2 years younger than me. And in the same situation as me. What advice would I really offer her?
  7. These people are bullshit. Finish. There is no grey area. Someone who practices spirituality should have some moral humility. Such practice is waste if the outer manifestation is the same animalistic behavior as usual. What else is going to be defended?murdering your own wife? I say this. Whether you like it or not. A layman on the street with a clean soul is more spiritual than any Godman whose words don't match their actions It gives a wrong message to society that actions are not important as long as your ego is winning. Man does not live for ego. Man lives for action. Your word should be a word of promise. Or else don't call yourself a man. Now you can call me crazy or mad or a pig or whatever. But this is what I believe in my heart. Like Paul says to Corinthians If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. ... Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

  10. @Leo Gura even if lets just say they are groupies. Anything wrong with being groupies?
  11. It's not so much about groupies. It's more about him brainwashing and assaulting women. This is unfortunately very common in India especially with gurus. That's why I don't hold them in high regard.
  12. She is telling the truth Nityananda is involved in a ton of sex scandals, using underage indian girls etc
  13. Popular psychology can be defined as any attempt to present psychological ideas to a general audience. Like all fields, academic and professional psychology have their own specialist publications and jargon. Popularisation is an effort to make this knowledge accessible, palatable and usable. There is no agreed way of classifying pop psychology, but three main genres stand out. First, there are books and media whose primary aim is to inform the public about recent developments in scientific psychology, commonly authored by academics or science journalists.

  16. Focusing on different diets.
  17. I don't like these guys to be honest. Such gurus are into a lot of scandals. I would rarely ever visit an ashram or take up any of their courses. I have known this truth for many years that a lot of these secluded spots with ashrams and schools are rampant places for abuse, rape, torture, gaslighting and mental breakdowns. Many young girls in my country have become victims of these kinds of things and I have my own bad experiences with so called gurus and sadhus This is however not to undermine those who do real work like Yogananda and Ramana Maharshi. Some great Indian teachers out there. However you will always find a few bad apples, a lot of them actually. It's best to learn from them from a distance. They do have important things to share, like any other cult leader, there are downsides if you get too attached. Just be wary who you give your mind to..
  18. @Leo Gura I think peanut butter is very very dangerous. Give me some insight on that. I will never eat peanut butter in my life.
  19. You need to force yourself to work through it (all your traumas, blocks, obstacles, issues, problems, environment ) so that you have a more functional way of being /existence (I'd refer to "life" as a way of being henceforth) and this is only and only for you to work out. You have to be functional. Your life has to be functional. There is no point in living if nothing is working out.
  20. I'm working towards integrating these aspects into my life. Being a good person (I'm generally a good person but I have slight anger issues, im a bit sensitive, which is both good and bad, I get easily offended and I can turn mean when I'm offended. These things need to be worked on because I don't want to lose people who actually like me. At the same time I don't want to keep impressing the provocateur types, they are just not my type at all, no matter what, they simply have to be out of my zone, this is not narcissism or echo chamber, it's just that nothing useful ever happens around such people, just fuss and a few arguments and defenses, I'm not generally looking for someone who is extremely agreeable, I like debating and disagreements but I like healthy non offensive non targeting kind of disagreement, my moon sign is CANCER, which means I'm going to be extremely careful in sensing people's emotions, im going to be manipulative, but not in a bad way, I want to be diplomatic around people without being too fake or flakey with it, just someone who is more socially coherent and smoother to deal with I as a person is absolutely beautiful to work with and have around, my personality is what attracts and I guarantee you that when you see my good side, you would really love having me around. Although often whenever you see my angry side, the offended side, the ranty side, the hurt side, it's usually because I am having to deal with the crap of the social circle I'm usually paired with, I never had healthy people around me, and I had no agency or choice in deciding who I was going to be friends with, as there wasn't much variety to pick from and I wasn't endowed with awareness above a superficial level, so I became friends with whoever was in my proximity or end up alone, the former being better than the latter, and so a lot of the people who I surrounded myself with had a huge impact on my mood. This means that you always get to see me as a frustrated offended person, my happy empathetic side never gets to show up, in some ways I regret not growing up fast enough, not making changes fast enough, but now since I have learned that I need to fix a Ton of issues and make a Ton of changes, things are not always going to be this way. It's like, I've to first deal with a Blizzard, before I come to a calm. Being a healthy person. I need to work on being healthy not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. Given my past trauma, this a bit asking too much out of me. But I am not the one to disappoint you. I will try. You'll definitely be proud of my final product. Being a functional person. This is what I learned today.. Will elaborate later. I can only manage this much chunk of text at a time.
