It was a sad dream.. My mother had put such fear in me as a child by beating me, it's impossible to remove that fear. Sometimes death is better than to live in terror with no help. Because of this pandemic I can't go out Everyone around me is wearing helmets along with masks. It feels like a epidemic zone, like they show on TV during Ebola. It seems the Indian Covid strain is deadly because many people in my state have died.

Am I going to die? I don't know. Last night i had a dream where I felt like I was going to die soon. I don't know if this dream is a precursor to a tragedy. A Premonition? Will I die the way my father died?

@AtheisticNonduality yep. I completely forgot that.

Be jovial when things are rough. Use counterintuitive strategies Self talk Be strong Be bold Be tough Deflect any attack Focus on worst forms of suffering Find your power in supportive characters. Immersion therapy Build a dream life

Try to find your power. Which means even when everything seems to be going against you, time is still on your side, you eventually recover and find ways to beat things. You learn new strategies. You motivate yourself. You prove that you can do better even when others trying to bring you down. Knowing that your suffering is not the worst is also a form of power Trying to feel good about yourself when everyone is trying to bring you down is also a form of power

Passion is another form of inspiration. Be passionate about something.

@Harlen Kelly @Harlen Kelly oh I know you mean sarcastically.
-
@Harlen Kelly but I don't believe this is true for most women. Otherwise we won't have majority males complaining here. The proportion of women complaining about not having a boyfriend is much lower.
-
@Harlen Kelly @Harlen Kelly yep. Even if they do, I think it's a small minority.
-
Nope. I have observed a lot of older women in my life and they seem completely fine. Some of them were single all their lives. These women were in their 50s. But they never complained. This sub forum itself is an indicator. Where do you find females coming in and complaining? It's always males all day every day. There are so many women who are single or don't have boyfriends or never had one. If they were frustrated, wouldn't they be complaining about not getting a man over here?
-
@Chew211 I don't think it applies to women. I've never experienced any kind of frustration, anger or impatience while not having a man. Being and not being in a relationship did not make much of a difference. In fact not being in a relationship sometimes felt like freedom.

I'm tired of all the Hyper aggressive competitive negativity in this place Plus the total lack of empathy and compassion and fake spiritual nonsense.

What makes you not want to do it? Fear or boredom or anxiety?
-
@Snader how does the anxiety manifest though? Do you experience symptoms like restlessness, insomnia, lack of appetite aggression or feelings of worry/fear etc? Does it lead to depression in men?

This picture makes me feel so calm Just imagining water slowly trickling down my head.
