  5. @ZenRising im learning to love myself little by little. It doesn't help when family members aren't supportive. I remember when I was 13 and first experimented with makeup, my mom snatched it away. If I stood in front of the mirror she would scold me. I was even forbidden from wearing nail paint. She would call me ugly or make fun of my hair. It was awful. That gave rise to a lot of self esteem issues growing up. For years I covered my face when I went in public. She now wonders why I have all these issues. Self love is a difficult journey.
  6. I like this post. Sometime you fall into the trap of compering yourself to other people, You think about what's wrong in you and in your life instead of what's good and what's work. You see all those successful, social, beautiful, happy people around you, you see all those high social standards and you feel so low compered to them, so looser. Your life seems so pity, so lame compered to others. "Why can't I be like him/her?" "Why my life is so hard and lame?" We all fall to those traps automatically. Those traps lead us to negative emotions that sabotage our passion to life, our joy, authenticity, growth, love for ourselves and others, it's like a cancer. We live in a very competitive alienated society and it's very easy to feel that what we are is not good enough and what our life is not as good as it should be. This is why it's so important to practice gratitude, EVERY SINGLE DAY. Just in order to remind to yourself about the things that work in your life, that are good, that you value and grateful for. It's a mystical practice which brings you more positivity to your life, makes you emotionally stronger, increases your general life satisfaction, brings you to the present, to the now. connects you to your body and to your life, it's a meditation, you feel more connected to the source when you practice gratitude, your emotional level improves, you starts to feel the abundance of life, you start to feel like God's favorite child. Just say "I'm grateful for..." or write it in your journal at the end of your day. you'll notice how your mood improves. It's so simple and healthy. You can be grateful for anything you find positive in your life. Examples: I'm grateful for my existence, someone made efforts to brings me to this world I'm grateful for the tasty food I ate today I'm grateful for the shower I took today, it brought me so many good ideas I'm grateful for being strong and healthy, life is much more easier that way I'm grateful for the freedom of will and thought I'm grateful for my curiosity, life seems so interesting for me I'm grateful for all the things I've learned today I'm grateful for having a place to sleep, in safety I'm grateful for morning's coffee, It was so good! I'm grateful for my pets, they bring me so much happiness I'm grateful for the book that I discovered today, It might help me to open my mind a bit more I'm grateful for my healthy hair, it means that I know how to take care of myself I'm grateful for the nice dream I had today, it felt so real and it brought me so many positive emotions I'm grateful for living at this cool era and not at some dark age I'm grateful for the walk I took today, it felt so refreshing I'm grateful for..... I'm grateful for..... I'm grateful for.....
  7. I can't stop looking at my legs. My ankles kinda look a bit swollen in the picture. I don't know why. They usually look like that if I had a tiring day. I got some highlights on my hair as well. Although it's not showing up that good. RIP heels. Gave me swollen ankles.
  8. @Marcel Hun today I cooked fried rice for lunch.. And I took a picture. Here it is. I added carrots, beans and capsicum, diced into bits. It's Indian style Fried rice. I also added spring onion and soy sauce. I'm sure you would love it. Today seems to be a good day hun

  16. @Marcel yes uploading my own picture is slightly scary because I feel so shy and self conscious about it. Also I gave those shoes to my friend who lives near me. They are big heels and I'm not too confident to wear them Only wore them in the room for some time Hehe. I couldn't wear them for more than 2 minutes. So I took them off. You can also see my tummy in the picture. A bit protruding tummy lol. I had to breathe in deep to keep it in. Hehe. A trick I use to not show my tummy. I don't have a very flat tummy. I gotta work on that.
  17. My mom took this picture of me and I immediately turned away from the camera. I'm camera shy. I just didn't feel confident enough. I kinda screamed at my mom for taking my picture without asking me. I feel a bit insecure about my picture but I'll upload it anyway. My bra is visible through my shirt My mom got that top for me and I was mighty pissed off at her because it's transparent and shows my bra. I don't like how my bra sticks out. @Marcel Honestly I was a bit pissed off when this picture was taken. Do you like my hair? I had a new hairstyle. What do you think of my hair in the picture?
