It has won BAFTA and Academy Award for the best documentary feature. It's available on Netflix. I watched yesterday. Cool movie. Makes you emotional and rethink your relationship with nature. Must watch.

What is bad is that he shouldn't criticize capitalism if that's what is helping him make money.

Yea absolute hypocrisy. Btw, much of their work is just for views and money. That should already be a sign.

@PurpleTree I remember my ex boyfriend telling me once - comedy is a way of openly saying forbidden things. -

I usually don't take Indian stand up comedians very seriously. They're considered right wing-ish in my country and it's the right wing-ish people who generally tend to watch and laugh at their not-so-funny jokes. Indian stand up comedians are very tactless, dummy, lazy, ignorant and shallow. And right wing-ish = asshole-ish is my connotation of such things if you understood what I'm trying to hint at. -

The problem with racists is that they almost never use racial slurs in the right context, as that would cause immediate dismissal from the crowd, they use their own internal policing on how they are going to be using such words. So you would find them using these words mostly in the absence of a black person, or in the presence of a non - black person because that would be mostly ignored and won't prompt an outrage as it would if he were using such words in the presence of a black person. You would find racists who don't use words publicly using such words in private conversations with other non black people. A one-off incident where a person says such words completely out of context and accidental can be given the benefit of the doubt, however constantly using the word, especially in front of non black people indicates and exposes the racist side of the person who is desperately trying to keep it hidden or trying to normalize it by constantly making it seem out of context. People who are truly non racist wouldn't prefer to do this. So Joe Rogan is definitely racist, and his constant usage of the word indicates that,, here it's not about giving benefit of doubt, you can't have a person saying the word that many times without having any awareness of it, no, he is simply racist -

I hope they get peace and protection. Looks like endangered groups of people. -
Try to keep the game as equal as possible. If you praise your partner, make sure you are receiving some compliments too. It shouldn't be one way street. You are keeping someone on a pedestal only when you are doing all the heavy lifting in the relationship meanwhile the other person lives like royalty. Keep it equal. If they are special to you, then you should be special to them as well and their actions/words should reflect that. Nothing wrong with praising the partner but it should be on both sides to avoid power shifts in the relationship that lead to imbalance.

Say to yourself - "it's okay." To every sentence you frame around her, just say "it's okay." "This other new female"... It's okay. "she is acting provocative".... It's okay "she is dressing up slutty"...its okay. "she is showing off her skin, legs"..its okay. "she takes up class time by asking semi-irrelevant questions and giving lengthy answers to the professor"... It's okay "while playing with her hair".. It's okay "I have a feeling the bitch"...its okay "she has a crush on him, I can just tell"..its okay. At the end of the day you can always tell yourself "no matter what, I'm prettier than her." Since you already know you're prettier of the two. Be happy knowing it's okay since she can never be a match to your supreme beauty. Try that exercise. Chin up. Kiss.
