  1. Do not keep her in the dark. Her needing you should not be used as a crutch to rely on. Because ultimately it's betrayal from your side no matter how much she needs you. A lot of guys subconsciously defend being with a girl just because she is lonely or needy and they feel bad to leave her. Long term this thinking does more harm. So go ahead and break up with her even if it appears cruel to keep it straight and simple. Sooner or later she will adjust to her new reality and find her own ground and move on. You should be with her only if you really want to be with her. And if you really don't want to be with her, then you should just let her go. Honesty is the best policy..

  6. What a strange coincidence. And this is not the first time I am experiencing a coincidence with Andrew. It always happens. He has a bad day. And usually I have a bad day on the same day
  7. Something weird is going on in my life right now. I called Andrew 10 mins ago and he tells me that he can't find his medication.. This is getting weird seriously. I lose my medication and he loses it at the same exact time. Can't wrap my head around this Feeling creeped out. Lately things aren't going well in Andrew's life either I hope everything works out at the end of the day. Today is like a miserable day.
  8. If @Anna1 doesn't want to do psychedelics it's totally her choice and good for her, it in no way means her life is wasted. Her life is good as long as she lives it on her terms. Understand that psychedelics is not applicable to every or all people. Only those who are comfortable with it can do it.
  9. That person threw away my medication. What the hell. It's been a bad day.
  10. Getting a feeling of distress.
  11. Perthonality goes deeper than the ego and is connected to the upbringing, cultural and genetic factors. Your perthonality emerges through it. It alters how you think, feel, react, respond and handle situations. The nature of the ego is deeply attached to the perthonality of the person. So if someone is egotistical, it's their perthonality, they're going to have a very fragile ego. So it's actually the reverse. The ego gets impacted by the perthonality rather than the other way around. Some factors that influence perthonality are genetic. So if a parent is someone who is addicted to alcohol, known to be sociopathic and having anger issues or mental illnesses, these are going to reflect fully or partially even in the kid. However with knowledge, therapy and other development tools it's always possible to alter the perthonality and make changes to help the person become pleasant
  12. I'm trying to connect the dots I think that depression, bi-polar and autism are all correlated and somehow negativity and narcissism, controlling behavior and ocd and the need to create drama and the need to provoke, bully and the need to blow things out of proportion and inflict pain to the point of sadism and the need to have stimulation at the expense of destructive behavior or destructive consequences is a terrible vicious mixture which is cyclical and a huge part of the personality disorders that create this toxic mixture.
  13. Just trying to process things
  14. The asters shake from stem to flower waiting for the monarchs to alight. Every butterfly knows that the end is different from the beginning and that it is always a part of a longer story, in which we are always transformed. When it's time to fly, you know how, just the way you knew how to breathe, just the way the air knew to find its way into your lungs, the way the geese know when to depart, the way their wings know how to speak to the wind, a partnership of feather and glide, lifting into the blue dream.
  15. Draw out the pink card......
  16. Pull a pink card from the box. What does it symbolize. To me it symbolizes freedom. Being on your own and enjoying your own freedom. Creating your own space of comfort
  17. Creative or life affirming
  18. Great points. I felt the same way when I was in North America. Can relate.
  19. So far so good. Sandra thanks for making my day so wonderful. Friends like you is what I need.
  20. You can't jack up meditation. It needs patience. Don't be impatient while sitting Bring your body and mind into freeze mode and relax completely like nothing matters. Your need to get a quickie result can ruin the sitting. With practice you get used to being patient. Obviously it's hard in the beginning because your ego and mindset will resist. You might even feel like you are doing something silly. But with time you will develop your unique way of meditating suiting your time and needs.
  21. This was an excellent resource on neuroplasticity
  22. You're not getting my point. Nobody can get rid of their cultural identity especially in a world of racism because you're constantly reminded that you are Indian or you are Chinese wherever you go. That's why political correctness is important because that's the only thing that helps dissolve identities. This can only be achieved if we stop creating barriers by using cultural identity. Look at the identity politics in America. It's all about racial identity. Why is race such a heated controversial topic in America if racial identity never mattered? If cultural identity never mattered this thread wouldn't have been created in the first place.. The only way to let go is when the whole world is ready to let go and call each other humans rather than Indians Chinese Americans etc etc etc. That won't be happening anytime soon. I can't live in LaLa land. I have to be realistic. So from a realistic perspective, I can't think that if someone said Indian, that's its not a reference to my cultural identity.
