  2. You have a good point Roy. But you can extend this to politicians and even some spiritual gurus. It's their ego. They could be wearing a mask trying to look like this spiritual master until some scandal about them breaks out. The same can be said of Doomsday cults who have so much power on the collective psyche that so many people buy into them and get attracted to their charisma. This can lead to a conclusion that the general collective subconscious is very gullible and therefore deception works so well...

Also Leo talks about Mahasamaadhi. I want to look deeper into it. Thanks Leo for today's video. Made a lot of difference. Inspired.

  13. Biologically we are programmed to have some evil behaviors. You can also see this in animals. The other day I saw a video of a pack of lions attacking and killing a lion. Lions also kill the cubs of other lions. This is the nature of humanity. You have some good and some bad There are certain things in life which are so complicated that there will never really be a perfect answer to such questions. That's why people scramble and come up with a universally accepted answer or repeat what others say to not feel defeated. The best thing that we can do is grow love and compassion and reduce evil Sometimes evil is also used for good purposes. For example killing is considered evil. But you could kill someone to save your child as an act of self defense. Here evil is being used as a weapon and not an intention. Often times evil is simply lack of control and lack of a solid moral foundation. Such people take the bait of evil and surrender to it.. Strong people can resist evil because they have a mental stamina that doesn't allow them to easily become corrupt.

  15. Lol Just use a phone timer to set the alarm or time keep it on snooze if you want. But kinda counter productive. Or use a sand hourglass in front of you. Or put on a piece of Tibetan gong or Tibetan bowl music that hits the gong every 10 minutes. See the length of the video, anywhere between 20 minutes to 1 hour. At the end of the 20 min /hour, the video will end. So you know your meditation hour is complete.

  18. 2 years ago my family wasn't serious about getting help for my mother because of strong social stigma associated with mental illness in my community here. So it was an extremely difficult situation.. However this year seems a good year for me. If they finally agree that she is mentally ill and decide that she needs help then things can work out. By now, 3 doctors have diagnosed her as a severe bipolar and prescribed medication which she took for 5 days and then stopped.. The doctors suggested that she will need a psych ward if she shows extreme resistance and zero improvement in symptoms.. This time however my family is ready for some professional help to be given to me in dealing with the situation. Currently I'm the only one funding her treatment which is getting difficult for me to continue because it's very expensive for me. If they all agree on this, we can come up with enough funding to deal with her mental illness and probably afford her better treatment. We can also be able to keep her in rehab for some time or some kind of mental illness treatment program which are quite expensive here..
  19. I'll use this journal to chronicle my path towards healing from a terrible relationship and a breakup.. The relationship transformed my personality in both good and bad ways. Good because I learned how to find love in myself and to detach from negativity. Bad because it left so much damage and trauma both physical and mental. I had opened thread very recently in the dating section regarding my ex and his constant efforts to reel me back into the relationship I tried so hard to escape. That thread had wonderful suggestions and ideas and thoughts that I need to include in my journal of healing.. This is an important journal because it is the journal where I am going to be embarking on a new journey from today that is March 27. (2020) I need to be moving on and it will need a lot of healing and acceptance and self love. He left a hole in my heart which he filled with a ton of negativity that I will need to recover from.
  20. I had a conversation with my boyfriend today regarding this. And he was understanding and sympathetic. My boyfriend gave me some tips today on dealing with the situation. His tips were really helpful.
