just putting this one here: Terence was rambling about a lot of things and of course isn't right in all he says/predict, but his general idea of "time speeding up", complexity going amok, interconnectivity increasing etc. are on point -

Of course - in a sense - God has a plan for everyone (everyone is Him/Her), cos God is all-knowing, omnipotent. But the metaplan is just God/Nothingness/Love itself. So void of ground, it is infinite. The ground of being is groundlessness. -

Well, what would the objective be? You as God decide what objective you want to imagine there to be I could say that the objective might be love, a test for how loving God can be. Or how creative. Infinite imagination. I could --along the same lines-- say that the objective is for God to wake up to Itself, after God had (on purpose) forgot that He/She was God. The suffering only makes the waking up feel more profound. The only one who suffers is God. There is no other than God. You are God. -

The ego ('me' / 'I' / the feeling of being a separate self) is literally The Devil in this 'human game by God'. But of course, the ego is completely deliberately imagined to exist by God, because God is inherently playful, and nothing is more thrilling than imagining that the diametrical opposite of Oneself is real. This game - dream, life - is a constant dynamic back-and-forth between God and ego, between love and hate, light and shadow, consciousness and ignorance, play and seriousness, expression and depression, acceptance and denying, accepting and judging, letting go and resisting, gratitude and self-pity, destiny and chance, expanding and contracting, grace and cruelty, selfishness and selflessness, attached and detached, trust and fear, responsibility and blaming, etc. It's most interesting when it almost seems like the darkness will win; when you are on the brink of suicide of depression and then bam: the Truth of Light hits you like a wrecking ball, and you cry and laugh uncontrollably over your own deliberate ignorance ❤️ -

The ego has yet to surrender to Love and its own unreality. Takes time, takes more consciousness work. It's a sneaky trick of the ego. It senses its obliberation, and pulls up a last resort trick: "perhaps everything is false/nothing/unreal: but <I> must be true, I exist, me me me! And see what you have done to me by engaging in psychedelics and spirituality and seeing everything is unreal (except me ofc!): I've become depressed by it, stop, stop!" You were just as much God during the peak of 5-MeO as you are now. You're never not God. Only God is! 5-meo "merely" expanded your consciousness as God. "Its what I experienced. only was the nothingness, and me. I'm the only being that exist, alone, in the nothingness" What do you mean when you say "I experienced" : can you show me this "I" ? You say you were the only being existing, alone, but where is this 'being' you speak of? What is it made of? You cannot have 'up' without 'down' -- can you have "me" or "I" or "self" without "other" ? Contemplate. -

You create fear because it is necessary for the survival of gswva. Now, why did you imagine gswva (and all the fear accompanied with forgetting that one is Oneness itself, and instead believing to exist as a separate self) into existence in the first place? Well, that's for you to find out, but the answer is probably that you did it out of love/a desire for infinite imagination. You are Love itself. You can't help but Love yourself. That's the absolute truth. In more relative terms, no, you will not be loved by anyone, cos there is only you - as God. And it is up to you, if you want to live a life where you are loved (where you love yourself, that is) or if you wanna give in to fear, self-hate, etc. This is self-hate, negative self-thoughts. Not necessary! <3 The 'me' and 'I' you are talking about doesn't really exist anyway. This is the illusion of the separate self. I mean, hehe, what do you even mean when you say 'me' or 'I' ?? Where is this separate self/<insert your name> that you are talking about? I guess you have a sense-of-self -- we all do -- but what is the sense-of-self actually? To quote veganawake: -

Your distinction between 'being in a state nothingness' and 'being in a state of dreaming' is that: an imaginary distinction, your ego is making; trying to grasp something that it cannot grasp. Nothingness and life/dream/Maya IS completely identical. No difference at all. What you are experiencing right now is nothingness. It's absolutely nothing other than your own imagination as God. Sure, we can talk about states of being stuck in dreamland, and states of being aware 'of what's going on' , but even the state of being 'aware of what's going on' (nothing, imagination, God, Love) is actually just a state of complete and utter amazement, cos it cannot be understood within any thoughts what-so-ever. We can only talk ABOUT the truth with words. We can never GET to the truth with words/thoughts. The truth IS ALWAYS THE CASE. It is not a state. It is what is. What stories you then create inside this 'is-ness' (your mind as God) is exactly that: stories, perspectives, narratives. This is the job of the separate self: to understand its own place in this world. Enlightenment is seeing that all 'trying to understand' is completetly and utterly futile. Reality is seen to be an utterly complete mystery, always out of reach for the separated logical mind. To be enlightened is to give in. To let go. To stop trying. To surrender oneself to the truth is to pour so much love into the ego that it explodes and surrenders to the mystery of existence. -

What you call 'reality' exists of course, because you want it to. It's your dream. What is in front of me exists only because I'm dreaming it up. Unconsciously, most of the time, sure, but that's how I like it. You can't tickle yourself can you? Or surprise yourself? Haha. The funny thing is, you can and you do! Only you do it by imagining something 'that is not you' (your friend tickling you, or your girlfriend making a surprise party for you etc.) Look - you are fucking God. No need to speak of God as if God is some 3rd-person-outside-to-you. It is you! There is no duality! What you call duality is non-duality. Non-duality, duality. Let go of your mind games/logic-thinking/concepts/word-games and observe what is going on: it's all your dream. Your imagination. The coolest imagination is that in which I act like there exist something that is 'not-me' or 'out-of-my-control' -- that's very exciting, playful, very thrilling, fun...Love: that's 'other', that's you. God/I/You create apparent duality because of our non-dual nature. It's the only thing 'We' can "do", you see? We can only "do" duality. If We chose not to do anything then that's raw, pure, non-duality: total utterly empty nothingness/oneness. The funny thing is, it doesn't even matter if We do stuff or don't, it's still 'that' (nothing, imagination) if We do, and if We don't do, We do, because by not doing, in the totality of Our absolute emptiness We can't help but create...i.e. in absolute total nothingness exists naturally a potential for infinite dreams/things. -

as long as you want to wake up, you aren't going to your wanting to wake up presupposes/implies that you somehow aren't God/Oneness/Love/Complete/Perfect already: that you are a human. Which is false. You are imagining yourself to be a human, to have xxxx as name, to be xx years old, to live in xxxx country, to have been born by mr. xxxx and mrs. xxxx, to have xxxx as a job, to have xxxx amount of money left to live for, to have xxxx as a car. etc etc Stop giving in to falsehood (believing any of what is going is serious or real) It's just your own funny dream, haha <3 -

perception presupposes a subject-object-duality, right? "The perceiver" and "the perceived". Perception exists of course if you see yourself as a separate real self inside a bag of skin. Then you are perceiving 'the world' through that bag of skin. (Or we could put it the other way: by insisting perception is real, you make the separate self real) Direct consciousness "of something" is seeing that "that something" is you! (your imagination, nothing) - seeing yourself - God seeing God - You are God! -

It's a useful distinction Ralston is making (the difference between being aware and being conscious). See, it's a distinction, made up by him. That's what it is. Use it for what its worth. "What's your understanding of that? If anyone has directly grasped what something is , for example a cup , how did it differ from being aware of it? " You can be aware of something, i.e. your visual field, a cup, your breathing, a sound w/e. This awareness is a subject-object-perception. You - as a conscious observer/self - are perceiving 'an object'. And then you can become conscious that this something (visual imagary, breathing-sensation, sound w/e) is your pure imagination as God. That's direct actuality. See, here is no subject-object-duality anymore, because whatever is happening (visual sight, breathing-sensation, sound, thought w/e) IS what is. It IS you. It is YOUR dream (imagination). There is no I, self or w/e that attaches itself to perceiving it. You have stopped creating the illusory self. You are God. And God dreams. You are dreaming. Wake up. -

God isn't a being/creature. God isn't anything really (and therefore everything of course). You aren't a research node of consciousness. You are God. Notice how you are stuck in fantasy land. It doesn't nescessarily help to think of all the things that could be. Look at what is the case now. What's going on? Examine the present moment as it is, now. You are fucking God:> -
considered trying ayahuasca. like in a ceremonial setting with a few people around you, guides and other participants

Is organic life simply the process of God moving towards re-unifying itself? Organic life is both the process of God splitting up and re-unifying. It's leela: play. Divine play https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lila_(Hinduism) -

Whatever life (God/Your True Self) gives to you is a blessing, so yeah, of course this includes your partner. If your relationship had no issues, no triggering, no conflict at all, then it'd be boring and you wouldn't be able to grow at all. So there has to be some "issues", but of course within certain limits. https://www.enneagraminstitute.com/relationship-type-4-with-type-5 , good short read, although I suppose you probably already have read this What hinders you from having perfect clarity right now? Is it unconscious inner childhood trauma/'selfish ways of looking at life' that has yet to be transcended in the light and love of your consciousness? I sense you have a good sense of 'what you need to do', but also be careful of not *trying TOO hard*. It's good to be sincere (serious) and put in effort, but effort can also sometimes be a blockade. In a sense, the more you believe you *need* perfect clarity/equanimity, the more distorted you become. The more you *try* to see everything clearly, the more everything becomes distorted. The more you try "to deal with everything properly", the more you could reinforce the deep inner unconcious belief that you exist 'as a separate poor-little-self' that has to conquer and control 'the outside world'. Alan Watts referred to this as “the backwards law” which is “the idea that the more you pursue feeling better all the time, the less satisfied you become, as pursuing something only reinforces the fact that you lack it in the first place. The more you desperately want to be rich, the more poor and unworthy you feel, regardless of how much money you actually make. The more desperately you want to be sexy and desired, the uglier you come to see yourself, regardless of your actual physical appearance. The more you desperately want to be happy and loved, the lonelier and more afraid you become, regardless of those who surround you.” The desire for a more positive experience is itself a negative experience. And, paradoxically, the acceptance of one’s negative experience is itself a positive experience. You could try make an experiment with your partner, where you both agree that sex is totally off-the-table for 7 days straight. You can still kiss and hug of course, but no sex at all of any kind. Such a reset/re-boot could maybe help? During those 7 days both of you - especially you - could totally relax and let go of all the thoughts about sex (as it is not allowed) and instead focus on other things... of course knowing that sex soon will be in play again after the experiment is over. Dunno, just an idea. -
