  1. It can help and it can be used as an excuse to not be your full self. There's a danger of getting stuck on it too.
  2. Something else to try for relaxation if you are high stress or have body anxiety is a magnesium supplement. I have used Natural Vitality Calm powder https://www.naturalvitality.com/natural-calm
  3. I like ashwagandha it is good for relaxing.
  4. The more you follow your dreams, the less friendships like this you will have. Things that aren't an energetic match will fall away as you have your focus on higher things. You'll make new friends or maybe these friends will grow with you.
  5. Talking to a good therapist can really help in ways that "talking to god" can't.
  6. So often when I don't want to do something, that means I should go. But it can take time to figure that out and that's ok. You don't have to leave like, now. You can sit on it a bit and try to become more sure of your decisions.
  7. I've used Berkey and it came recommended to me by a couple sources I trust. https://www.berkeyfilters.com/
  8. @SaltyMeatballs 2 weeks now. I will take 1 or 2 every day until I run out and then tbd. I like to switch up supplements so I don't get used to one thing only. I also have a couple other mood supplements that I rotate with. (St. John's Wort, another mushroom blend for stress and sometimes GABA).
  9. In this particular one it's 300mg Lion's Mane and then half that or less for the other stuff.
  10. Be careful with coconut oil. It creates a barrier on the skin (does not absorb) and over time your skin will not produce its own moisturizing oils. This eventually creates drier and more irritated skin. I've found a very light amount of pure mineral oil (baby oil) to be nice. Sometimes I will do a small amount of Vaseline. An olive oil made specifically for skin is good. Castor oil blends can be nice too. Coconut oil is ok if not used all the time and if it gets washed off at the end of the day as it does build up easily. I always switch up my facial moisturizers so my skin doesn't get used to something, creating irritation down the line. Always keep in mind that less is more when it comes to skin and hair care. When we disrupt the body's natural ability to cleanse itself things get out of whack. That's why a lot of women have worse hair and skin than guys...they're constantly stripping the hair and skin of its natural oils. These oils are what keep the skin and scalp healthy. Get a basic, minimal ingredient face wash and use one of the above-mentioned oils sparingly.
  11. Do you have this idea that guys just go out and do all the work? I wish. It takes a lot to attract a man that's worth your time in even just the bedroom.
  12. Actually, the things I wrote are feminine specific. Guys can do them too but these are some things I do to attract a man. To be an invitation to his masculinity. Yea plenty of guys can just go out and ask any random woman on a date. But a woman who wants to attract a high value man will show up herself as high value.
  13. So freaking much. I'm really focusing on softening my body and being in touch with my pleasure. Opening my heart instead of closing it. Dressing nice and being well put together. Taking care of my physical being. Having good posture. Being mentally upbeat and engaging. Generous with my energy and not just sucking value from the man. Being relaxed and fun, moving my body, smile and laugh a lot, responding to him. Not being stiff and uptight.
  14. Yea exactly. I am a seemingly "separate self" who still must deal with "human" problems. Do you go about your life saying there aren't "solutions" because the problems are actually "imaginary"? I'm trying to wrack my brain for a world where I would always default to remembering that I am imaginary and there isn't any "real" me when I'm faced with emotions. It upsets me when I say something about my life and someone comes in and says "remember, your "self" is just an illusion". That's armchair philosophy in this context. Is this what actualized.org teaches? To deal with life this way?
  15. Men are physically stronger than women and women are more emotionally tuned in than men.
  16. ❤ But I'm not arguing this. I stated things I notice in myself and ways I deal with my emotions and you said they're not real. That doesn't help me. Are you saying you meditate on nothingness? Is remembering nothingness a way to deal with life problems? I want to know what the practical aspect of remembering the non-real quality to reality is.
  17. Resistance is normal too tbh. It would make things easier to not have it though haha
  18. There is a lot to be learned! It's not enlightenment, it's just dealing with life-stuff.
  19. No its not gaslighting. Death doesn't matter and is an apparent function the body must deal with but we talk about it all the time as being imaginary. Where does it end? Hunger? Ugh.
  20. I know you're not trying to criticize me but this is really frustrating This is exactly what you are doing. I see concepts everywhere. I don't see enough non-concepts. That is one part of liberation. Liberation is multi-faceted. That and, I'm a human who feels and expresses a wide range of emotions.
  21. often I often have a problem with your responses lol ❤ Why not say something like this when you're hungry? You're hungry? Oh it's not real. Maybe, but that doesn't help anything!
