@Martin123 will you break up with your mother for a while, or just change attitude towards her? Did Matt Kahn say anything on This? Is it ok to break up from parents if you have had difficulties with them, according to Kahn? If you feel that your "personality"(individuality) is somewhat highjacked Thanks to syppression, isn't it right to move on Then? Leave them behind and Maybe come back some time in future if you missed them and have a nuanced picture of them? Hehe, family is a tricky thing! ? -

Haha! Like the part with guns. ? Love have to protect itself with guns. ? But honestly, there is indeed a system that enslave people, Maybe not literaly, But mentally, we pick up thoughts, ideas, norms from society until we forgot how to live from intuition/heart. Finally we fear leaving the mind even for a brief second to experience impersonal Love beyond mind. Therefore, I really think a worldrevolution is a good Idea. But Maybe its impossible, as you pointed out using absurd humor, guns will not be a part of it. And without guns, how can it not be anorher flower power movement where we give flowers to the military when others are laughing and not taking it serious. ? I guess many in history have accept violece and cruelty just as means to come to power. And once there, they like to implement the good, the Love and beauty of life, in a top-down model. Nerver works I guess! ? I guess there can be no Justitified revolution other Then the individual inner one? -
Since we are on a quest to transcend knowledge and be free of our mental prisons, it can still be interesting to see what prejudices are still hiding there. Since this is a global forum with members all over the world, let's see what we think of each other nations. This thread is meant to work in three steps. First you tell your ideas, thoughts and prejudices about the country that the member is from. (The member who posted before you) Secondly you recognise all of that as just thoughts and projections and try to transcend it all (spiritual aspect) Thirdly you tell what country you are from and the procedure continues with a new member reflecting on your country and so forth. Ok, I'll start with me. I'm from Sweden, as my nickname reveals!

Nice to see the first few votes coming in. So far it doesn't gravitate to any of the two extreme poles. I can't vote for some reason, but I would go with something close to the solitude alternative. -

Enlightenment is active when you can't relate to the concept of it. When you no longer have a clue what even enlightenment or absence of enlightenment even mean. -

@Dodo You must understand that your romantic ideas are false. Compassion = illusion(when you look deeper, compassion dissolves and you see how silly the illusion is) Same with love! Same with beauty! None of it exist! Nothing is, you are dead, in fact, you are not even dead, you have never existed, and neither has reality. Reality is non existent. Now try and get it, and stop being a pathetic nobody that romanticize that which doesn't exist. You seem to be happy from your ideas of compassion, now drop that and become a depressed nihilistic guy instead! Truth is not sweet, but a bitter pill with nothing good in it, no love, no compassion, no beauty, since none of it exist. I was once a happy guy, filled with love, compassion and happiness, but I was brave enough to transcend all that to embrace the depressing truth of reality (nothing is, not even consciousness) Nah, just joking, I was a little bit sarcastic above, l'm on your side dodo, and the nihilistic @Faceless is too smart for his own good. @Faceless should embrace no mind! No mind has power and intuition. Mind has only cleverness, that takes you nowhere. But @Dodo Why do you have such a depressing avatar? Chronic pleasure is indeed possible. Go reach turquoise and see for yourself. -
Note, if you are a newbie, or haven't gone far in the path of enlightenment, please stay away. I like qualitative answers from the most advanced people in here, since one question involve my family. Requirement for leaving an answer in this thread: At least 2/3 criteria must be met in order to answer, please tell me which two criteria you met at the beginning of the answer.(Or if you met all three of them) 1. •You must have had at least one fully enlightened experience that is not drug induced, and also at least one enlightened experience during influence of psychedelic drugs! 2. •At least a sum total of 1000 meditation hours or more. 3. •At least 10 psykedelic trips, out of which at least three(or more) of them were with 5meo-dmt. Questions: 1. Most important question. I like to help out my parentes and my grandmother to see the truth. They trust me, and I would like to give them psychedelics. But my parents are in their 60s and my grandmorher is 80+. All of them lived highly conventional lives. Can it be too chocking for them if I indroduce them to psycedelics or will it be a blessing? They are open minden in Regards to me and that they trust my "unconventional view" on reality. But they all trust aurhorities, media, corporations and society norms. Given that they all lead fully conventional lives and are in somewhat old age(definitely my GM at least), how wise is it to let them have psycedelics? I'm a positive person and like to think of great succesful outcomes, But Maybe I should think twice? 2. Next question is simply why we tell eachother that we don't exist, when it's rather the polar opposit, not only do we exist, we exist for eternity, and always had, not to mention that we are infinite, therefor, nothing is separate from us. We should say that we're limiting and reduce the understanding of who we are to s personal self, when infact, we are everything else as well aka unlimited consciousness. We are so literary infinite more then the body that it's fair to say that we're (asymtothically) not the body(even though we are that also, just as the table next to you) So why do we scare people with saying that they don't exist, when they exist in such an infinite way that they can't grasp.

Btw, Isn't it a sign of ego to REMOVE reputation points? After all, if you remove them, thats a sign that we are attached to them. But if we are free of ego, we might handle it like a funny(and silly) thing that add some happiness and a feeling that the forum is "alive" As @Prabhaker once put it: Osho collected Rolles Royces, I collect rep points, it shouldn't be much of a deal. I agree. -
MarkusSweden replied to Joseph Maynor's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I remember! It took a while for you to get 1000 points, but once there you move on quickly to 2k, and 3k points. Only shy of Leo's points. But I notice your post these days anyway, I always feel at ease when reading your post. Wise, sharp and funny. But your not perfect, you were highly attached to those rep points, how egotistical. That's how we like it. No sun without dark spots. -
MarkusSweden replied to Joseph Maynor's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Lol, agree! It could be a time limit to rep points. Like 7 days expire date. Then we have a dynamic setting. Before Leo had tons of points and newbies almost no points. With 7days expire of rep points, we will have a fair and interesting race where anyone can aim for a brief lead in terms of points, would be interesting. -

With spiritual work and curiosity, often Joy and happiness follows. How could we ever imagine that such freedom was possible to such a degree that you acutally becomes free of your very own self(ego), since it actually doesn't exist. When you really dig through your ego based fear and grasp this, an amazing feeling of Joy, freedom and happiness happens! So far, nothing New under the sun, you are all familiar with this. With these feelings of joy and happiness comes a natural desire to share it with others, to share it with the world! However, its not always frictionless to share undiscriminately, to share with all and everything that is! It's Almost as you are too happy, too free, too peaceful to fit in. Some people might be so attractive to your persona, which you know doesn't exist. They are drawn to you as flies are drawn to cow shit. They want something from you, Maybe relationship, friedship or something else. But from your perspective Joy and happiness is not a big thing, and you want it like that. You don't want it to be measured or judged in a positive way, because that threatens the freedom. You just want to share Love truth and happiness without getting labels, positive labels disturbs the flow just as negative ones. But of course, to others, who haven't feel that happiness might Love to be around you and sub consciously want to own a little bit of you. Also, some might feel threaten by your openness, since they sub consciously registrate a threat to their own ego since they somehow spot the absence/lack of ego in your openness and happiness. Somehow, there are forces that suggest you to guard your openness/happiness even if That's unnatural to your state of being. Peace, happiness and Joy are very much linked to openness and a lust for Sharing when socializing. How do you cope, please elaborate.

Yup, I always pick up significance from both of you! However, somehow I feel you guys are far ahead of me on this path. I feel stupid in comparison. But again, that's just a thought!
