Yep, and humans are complex creatures with multi-faceted personalities. SD is good at seeing basic level values but it obviously wont tell you everything about a person or a society.

Seems youre not really listening anymore. I love my country, I love other countries too, for different reasons. Open your mind to the beauty of other cultures. Theres no free healthcare in the US, does that mean I should hate the Us? of course not, Im happy my country has free healthcare and hope yours will too. I can appreciate the good and bad of different countries.

Of course it makes us prosper now. The winners of colonialism and imperialism came out on top, not because were better, because we ruthlessly exploited Africa, Asia and the Middle-east to some extent, read some history. I mean the first 250 years of US was based on Free Labor (*cough *cough, slavery) for Christs sake! I dont hate the West btw, Im just honest enough to criticize it. Seeing the good and bad in a country doesnt equal hating it.

Glimpses shouldnt fade... You should atleast be able to go back to whatever "state" you were in, otherwise it was just that... an emotional state. Its kind of like... What I just saw cant be unseen... But it doesnt mean youre in that state all the time... Im mostly an unconscious monkey, but with a little focus I can experience "A witness state".

Once again, this is his forum, i honestly think hes fairly patient with all the stuff going on here, but i also think he is trying to pull people away from the toxic alt-right movement that is growing so strong right now and more towards Stage Green and to do that he has to be a bit rough and not allow just any idea to be spouted. I dont know where you are in your journey but a good way to do self-inquiry is to try reverse the approach. Instead of trying to look for yourself, try looking only at what exists in your direct experience in this case your 5 senses, if theres only 5 senses then how can you exist? What are you made of? Have you ever experienced yourself? Or have you only experienced these 5 senses? Try messing around with different approaches. Step back and look at the painting as a whole.

The problem is that it doesnt invite right-wingers to open their minds when the first thing you do is say "God is Communist". It plants a basis of ideology, which scares people off.

No political ideology is true, everyone has different needs and perspectives. Pure libertarianism is great for a billionaire CEO, socialism is great if youre poor or homeless, which one is truer? None. They both serve different needs.
