I am worried about other nutrients that are in animal foods but not in plant foods. in addition, the accessibility of nutrients through animal foods appears to be more bioavailable. Further, I am just not convinced by the original research that suggests animal fat and that saturated fat is bad. As someone else mentioned, there are confounding variable that are often not taken into account, such as the daily activities of the population and the quality of the animal product. I'd say so since it follows logically that fruits and vegetables are more scarce in the northern region hence relying on animal products. This is also further supported by european's tolerance and acceptance of milk in their daily diet, in other words europeans are not lactose intolerance.

Lol so what? you guys are ridiculous. What? you want a girl to dedicate herself to you when you have no sense of independence or any idea of who you are? How is a lady going to feel safe and secure in her relationship with you , if you are homeless, don't have clothes, and don't have basic shit down like what you're going to do in the world. Incels and other guys look at that list like its surface level items and think girls are so surface. The reason why girls will care about that is because it speaks of your CHARACTER. Thats why it will attract a girl to have a job, a place to live, and clothes on your back. Having friends vs not having any friends says a lot about you. AND do you think girls don't have their own list to get a boyfriend either?

+1 You're not wrong. Keep your heart open and just feel it out. Reality literally exists as a paradox, and it's going to take some time for you to wrap your mind around it. Haha it does bring up memories though when I realized this same insight and talked to everybody like I am talking to myself, which is still essentially true. -

OP, I've been where you are, afraid of the possibility of experiencing a bad trip. Honestly, If you do not have a family history of schizophrenia, you are able and comfortable with soothing yourself emotionally, and you are not impulsive. In addition, if you are introspective and even introverted. I would bet that you would be okay. You gotta be confident when you take the leap and just have at it. Look at the bright side of things. I am afraid before all of my psychedelic trips lol. And pretty much every time, I say "I don't know what I was worried about. this is awesome." Except N-N DMT, that feels like I'm dissolving into nothingness. Can be a bit scary during the moment, but I still leave it feeling amazed. You're bound to reach some weird moments where things may take on an ugly appearance or a dark tone, almost like the difference between watching a horror film and a Disney movie. You become really sensitive to the energy around you and the energy you create. You just gotta stay conscious, use rationality as difficult as it may be, and be able to let go when it's necessary. -
I believe it and I respect the movement, especially people like Joe Rogan who hunt their food. Sourcing healthy raw meat & milk seems difficult and risky, at least it appears that way from my location and perspective. But the raw meat and raw milk diet appears to be legitimate, especially with the work of Winston Price. My only concern is gall bladder issues, but I can't make any claims because the subject of raw meat is still relatively new to me. A healthy diet to me roughly speaking is eating whole foods, mostly plants, not too much. It's going to depend on the person too. as you may have heard the notion that Northern Europeans will thrive more on Sat. Fat, dairy, and in general animal foods. A healthy breakfast, could simply be pure fruits like bananas and berries or an egg omelette, depending on how I feel. A healthy dinner for me would be a Salmon filet with steamed broccoli (perhaps with some carrots). Or half a sweet potato with steak. Or I could substitute the potato with green beans. On another night, I could eat and would consider a "vegan" like meal healthy as well- for example, a quinoa dish with beans, peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, hemp seeds and leafy greens. I would find this delicious and satisfying as well. Overall, if its a whole food that my grandparents would recognize, then I consider it healthy. I guess the Mediterranean diet would fit the closest to my ideal vision of a healthy diet.

Weed is very different than other psychedelics tho. Paranoia plays out different on weed vs LSD/mushrooms. Weed is hazier and as a result its easier to fool yourself in my experience. Something like LSD is a lot cleaner and the clarity stops the paranoia in the first place. As @Serotoninluv said, start small. -
Yeah I am noticing a push for the carnivore diet, but it does not resonate with me. I see myself very much as an omnivore. Although that video is f-ing hilarious lol.

Healthy as in, healthy animals that eat their natural diet, popularly known as grass-fed meat, for example. I mentioned beef broth because I have read stories of ex-vegans who came across a serious healthy issue that led them to needing to consume bone or beef broth as way to easily digest food and intake nutrients found in meat. How can one eat a healthy diet without animal products and low fiber? I was easily consuming at least 100g of fiber per day when I ate plant-based. Fortunately, I do not have a problem with fiber, but I know a family friend who has Crohn's and says he cannot eat too much fiber, nor can he eat raw veggies. Lots of legumes, quinoa, rice, pasta, seeds, nuts, flax milk for calcium, peppers, tomatoes, onions, turmeric, salt, pepper, kale, olive oil, lettuce, broccoli, oranges, strawberries, blueberries, and kiwis. All as organic as possible. I tried to follow closely to kind of meals Simnett nutrition https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpyhJZhJQWKDdJCR07jPY-Q/videos I still dig his videos tho and respect his lifestyle. My next step towards this nutrition journey will be to start looking at these milestone studies in depth. I am aware of the China study, but I have not had the pleasure of reading the book. In my opinion, I ate at least a 90% healthy vegan diet. The only nutrient I found that was hard to get was Iron and a couple of B vitamins (B3 and B6 I believe), but I am aware I could fill these up without animal products. and I did learn a lot from the experiment which is that eating a plant-based diet is great! but should one give up meat/fish entirely? I do not think so for a few reasons: 1. Reliance on B12 supplement which are synthetic or semi-synthetic. 2. Nutrients in meat and dairy are easier to get whether that is B vitamins, iron, protein. - NOTE I am not saying you can't get protein on a vegan diet. You can! during the plant-based only experiment, I would get around 80-100g of protein a day without trying. HOWEVER, if you want to reach 150g of protein, its definitely harder. 3. Other nutrients that can only be found in animal products. ----- BENEFITS of a plant-based diet: Better skin and less acne. (this could be attributed to less junk food, possible dairy and more fruits and vegetables tho) Felt lighter Loved the high fiber content which would leave me filled for long periods and hunger would creep slowly.

No.
-
calorie surplus as other have said and also make sure you are eating a moderate amount of protein like 150g. Lift consistently.
-
Vegans criticism of meat is bullshit. They never bring up studies with healthy sources of meat that use a healthy population. how about the people who cannot consume high fiber content? or what about the people have been healed through beef broth? I ate "vegan" or very low animal products for two weeks, and ate meat maybe one or two times on the weekends. Plant foods added a lot to my diet, but I did feel a lack in strength and sharpness from not eating meat/fish. "Eat food. Mostly Plants. Not too much." - is a good guideline in my experience.

isn't this a subjective matter? what do you think? I think humanity's unwillingness to collectively raise our consciousness is what is dangerous. Both of those problems could potentially go away with a human society that is high conscious.

JP is talking about those parents who let their kids pull tantrum behavior on them in public. Not kids who are trying to find themselves through expression. edit: He even has a separate chapter discussing how we should let kids be kids, In chapter 12 (or 11) I believe is titled, let kids skateboard.
-
This was pretty much JP's point in that chapter.

I think perspectives are illusive often because they do not take into account the many angles one can take on life. Thoughts/beliefs/paradigms pretty much lock you in a defined box and make every other perspective appear wrong because it does not fit in the thought box. which is why is so important to learn about as many perspective as possible, so that you are closer to the infinite. -

SgtPepper replied to Gladius's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It definitely does, I meant that, in my experience, using psychedelic substances isn't going to encourage or incentivize somebody to ingest higher dosages. A person who takes 3g of mushrooms and experiences a subjectively intense trip, isn't going to come out of that and say, "Okay next time I will do 5g." I could've been more clear -
SgtPepper replied to Gladius's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That's a good distinction to make. Like the dose versus the frequency. In that case, I will agree that would be abuse of food in that context and I can generalize that to alcohol, as one would be abusing their natural limits and their body. with psychedelics, I would not worry about the tendency or possibility of abusing or overdoing a psychedelic substance in terms of dose cause in my experience, psychedelics do not incentivize that. I appreciate your reply as well. -
SgtPepper replied to Gladius's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
They could, but five times a year does not seem like abuse to me, even if they go on trips cause they're bored. Addiction is some serious stuff. Addiction to me is like prostituting yourself for drugs, or NEEDing liquor in the morning. but that's just me, maybe I've seen too many movies/documentaries. Psychedelics have a really low addiction potential and they're just super strong experientially and on the mind, I am not sure how someone could get addicted from my personal experience. -
SgtPepper replied to Gladius's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Hardly seems like an addiction. would you consider someone who drinks alcohol to the point of intoxication a five times a year an addict? -

I find life purpose to be interwoven with spirituality. -
I agree with what everyone has said here, each person gave great advice. This post is touching and I have also felt that sense of deep confusion, sadness, and hopelessness, recently actually. Have you tried a psychedelic before? They helped me a lot in my personal development and getting me in touch with my purpose. Still though, my vision and purpose is not fleshed (am 24 years old), it just gets me closer. I am constantly re-working it and I have also come across two different paths that I am equally passionate about. You gotta feel it out... to get that answer, rarely has to do with thinking, so id be careful with using just thinking as a way to get to your vision for yourself. Make sure when you are meditating or going for a run, and you take that feeling of presentness/quietness into your daily life, detaching yourself from judgments, fears, and worries (easier said than done, I know...) You have to keep working at it and in those days where you do get hit hard with sadness, take it easy, recover, and you will find the light once again. Afterwards, START EMPOWERING YOURSELF IMMEDIATELY. The brain needs to be completely re-wired, the way it receives the world, the way it labels the world, and the self-talk all has to change to be in the lig. Plan on dropping bad habits and start recognizing how much power you have to change your current situation, it may take you one, two, or three years to really change your current situation, but you have a chance! -------- Start collecting affirmations and saying it to yourself, here a few from a book (Feel the Fear and... Do it anyway) I own: 1. "I am breaking through old patterns and moving forward with my life." 2. "I relax knowing I can handle it all." 3. "I stand tall and take responsibility for my life." 4. "I know that I count and I act as if I do." 5. "I spread warmth and love everywhere I go" 6. "I let go and I trust it's all happening perfectly." 7. "I peacefully allow my life to unfold." 8. "I am finding the gift in all experiences." 9. "I am powerful and I am loving and I have nothing to fear." 10 ." I focus on my many blessings." Check out the book - or audiobook - Mastery by Robert Greene. It has been a source of motivation for me to keep at it because it exposes you to the journeys of all the greats (Charles Darwin, Leonardo Da Vinci, Albert Einstein, and more...) and you will be surprised to learn the obstacles these individuals went through. I do not think getting a second job is the answer. Lifting yourself up in the market place through education is better. There has to be a way to get some financial aid or get a loan to pay. Learn a skill that pays like manual labor, tech, or an established practice (just some ideas), and do whatever it takes to get that certification/degree/experience. Even if its not 100% what you want, especially since you are not sure about your life purpose, at least you will get paid enough to move out and not work a second job. At least you will working towards change in your life right now. ----- Check out Elliot Hulse's channel. He does a great job at empowering his audience.
