@Joseph Maynor makes a good point here my dude. I fall into negative scripts and stories myself, so no judgment here! Psychedelics CAN definitely help. They're powerful and amazing and what's crazy is if you haven't even tried it. you don't even know what you're getting yourself into it because its wild. and you will surely be amused and amazed, possibly frightened at the realism behind it. -

meditation, exercise, and hatha yoga (mindful stretching essentially) -
exactly. edit: Additionally, I don't think its necessary for you partner to be spiritually inclined. My partner of 7 years is not so spiritually inclined but she likes to practice hatha yoga, physical exercise, personal development, creativity, and wants to embody love. I think anybody here who is serious about personal development and wants a pre-requisite, just needs to find someone who is positive, passionate, and committed to living growth-based life. Isn't too obsessed with materialism and vices.

I agree with you ajasatya. I see you around this forum and spread so much wisdom. It is soo good to see someone speak about marriage in positive fashion here. I see many people personally and online attack marriage, usually because they misinterpret its function in our lives. I am strongly for marriage and family because it is important way to establish love and security for children. Additionally it does challenge you spiritually because being in a long-term relationship requires patience, commitment, love, and understanding. It is not easy, but it makes you and your partner stronger. Edit: @aurum consider marriage to be more than just a commitment of a sexual relationship. Its a long-term commitment of character growth and sexual growth... Arguably sex can be incredible with your partner because if the emotional connection, trust, and loyalty built up over the years. This can't be had with a promiscuous lifestyle. Although you could potentially have an open marriage/relationship like Nina Hartley and her husband. It's a choice, its our personality. so there's no right or wrong in this choice.

I think there is some truth to what you're saying. But I think all of the "negative" spirits are you. They are a creation of the energy you feed inside yourself. I also don't see how psychedelics increase the potentiation since psychedelics are associated with higher mental health and as someone clearly posted, it helped them purge "negative" entities. and if they make "holes" then why doesn't it increase the chances of good spirits coming in? or increase chances of negative entities to release? From my perspective, these are just stories we tell ourselves. All energy rests within, its all created by you. The negative spirits you see is an aspect of yourself. To convince me otherwise, you'd have to be able to point the distinction between me and the entity. -------- The only thing holding you back or blocking you is yourself. To unblock, open your heart, even to evil because you are at peace with it all. I welcome all responses. -
Why is that? Fish is a great source of nutrients and humans have been fishing and eating fish forever. Additionally if majority sources are saying sardines are safe, why do you disbelieve. Can't it be just as likely that sardines are in fact safe?
-
I feel like id tell myself to keep doing what I am doing. Appreciate my relationships and to not worry so much, life too short to worry.

According to a quick internet search. they're safe because they don't live long, so they don't contain concentrates of mercury. They're considered the safest fish to eat as well as the most sustainable. I'd just avoid canned stuff unless its a high quality brand and you have no other choice.

It's not necessary... Honestly the only thing you should be doing while tripping, is looking inward, contemplation, bathing in silence, and participating in activities that encourage expression. -

Because believing in something is essentially useless. You don't believe in God, you become aware of God, and then we tend to create a model and belief around the direct experience. Belief just isn't convincing enough because there's no basis to it, like direct experience. Is it really though? If I stare closely at my experience, there's nothing material about it to me. The "materials" are occurring in "nothingness" -
just eat a mixed diet or gravitate towards food that make you feel good, but you're gonna have to experiment to get insight into what diet works for you. I strongly disagree with individuals here who think meat is unhealthy. There is no evidence that quality meat is unhealthy and you can find a bunch of evidence that a diet with no animal products is damaging in the long run. Even if you point to eastern societies like India, people are vegetarian which still includes, animal products like eggs, cheese, and milk. I think a sensible diet is one that mixes all foods, consider what you ancestors ate. I am Portuguese, so my country is filled with olive oil, berries, meat, fish, vegetables, and fruits. So thats what I eat. Literally every single human civilization survived on meat. Hunting also played a significant factor in our evolution and brain development. An issue with studying the inuits is that in recent years their diet changed due to exposure of western culture. In recent years diseases when up but I believe it is correlated with the introduction of agricultural foods into their diet. Additionally, some people hypothesize that their shorter lifespan is due to lack of medical care. they concluded that ONLY processed meat was associated with shorter telomere lengths.

In assessing this idea, consider the fact that molesters and abusers are often victims of the same abuse themselves. The only conclusion I have is that these individuals did not lose their ego "permanently" if they claim it so, that they lack self/impulse control, and that in general power can corrupt people. Money can corrupt people. This may be a good time to bring up the fact that Leo does stress ego development/shadow work as well on the spiritual path. and for good reason. -

I think this is a very subjective matter. I drink alcohol at family occasions, a party with friends, or Holidays. And these occasions are not often. I "party" with my friends maybe like 5x a year. I personally do not have a problem with alcohol. I can get completely drunk and usually I have no more interest in drinking it the following day. I don't know how people get addicted to it, it literally feels and tastes like poison lol. It has no health benefits whatsoever. However, I did not find it effects my "spiritual lifestyle", in fact being drunk is just another interesting perspective and it is psychedelics in the sense that it changes how you perceive yourself and others, so I enjoy that aspect of it. I enjoy cannabis way more though. -
don't try any extreme diet, imo. If anything, come to understand your ethnicity and heritage, what did you ancestors survive on? Probably a variety of stuff right? but definitely not junk food like soda, potato chips, and pop tarts. Come to understand this on a deep level so that you desire the things that make your body feel good. Adopt long-term healthy habits such as eating whole foods. However, some good guidelines are to reduce carb intake, eat vegetables, and consume healthiest sources of animal products (grass-fed milk, meat, yogurt, and wild caught fish). Furthermore, How many calories are you eating? You should figure out what calories are necessary to maintain your current weight, and then reduce about ~400 on a daily basis. In the same way you splurged to get into that position, you're going to have to go on a deficit; however, if you eat good wholesome foods, it should keep you feeling filled and energized. Eventually you get used to it. Count your calories and start creating a healthier relationship with food. This will probably take years if you have only now started considering changing your diet. Experiment and see how different foods make your body feel. If you are super disciplined you can find the answers out in a year or maybe less, but it can also take 2-3 years if you are not super disciplined and keep "cheating". you can use myfitnesspal.com or the app, to count calories and it will also help you log and track your progress. In addition, Fasting can be helpful if you like it. I've read that it can boost fat burn. Elliot Hulse would recommend those who wanted to lose weight to walk about one hour in the morning before breakfast, so a soft exercise in a fasted state can help! edit: @outlandish is correct! If you are exercising with weight, you will be putting on muscle which can explain the weight (pounds) gain. You would be better off looking at fat loss through looking at your body and looking at body fat percentage pictures.

you need to relax. and step out of the echo chamber. Date girls that aren't dysfunctional and are looking for a meaningful relationship, problem solved! There are plenty of girls looking for a long-term meaningful relationship and do not want to be a groupie. The girls they're talking about in the video are not looking for a meaningful relationship. A family friend, who's a girl, got out of long-term relationship (years) and found a guy on a dating website, who also got out of a similar long-term relationship. They are now together in a long-term meaningful relationship and just got married, all in this decade. It is totally possible! date around a little, and find someone you trust, values the same things as you, and vibe with. Personally, I do not like RSD's content at all. It's so dramatic, superficial, and one dimensional. I think you would be better off reading books about this subject, seeing therapy, figuring out who you are, embodying your passions and deepest nature, and staying mindful all the while. Become a stronger version of yourself period. That is all you need to do. Women like men who are going places. Practice talking to girls in a neutral setting. Try to understand the feminine.

to transcend is to see what you are without your mind's filter. don't focus on the content of your eye vision, what is your eye vision? look at the pixels, what is made of ? what is it all occurring in. once you ask that, stop with the questions and become pure awareness, what is that? who are you behind all of the mind's filter. -

Love is an intense connection at its core in my experience. when you are connecting deeply with someone. However you can deeply connect in many ways. You can connect via natural birth (offspring and parent), through a deep bond in friendship, and romantic love. Love is like the feeling of when you feel comfortable, welcomed, accepted, given energy and attention to by a person. Love is giving your awareness to another, its to see beyond yourself for the benefit of another, because you deeply want to connect. When you are in love with someone, you will feel energized by them, you will be intimate and vulnerable as well. Intimate physically and mentally like talking about daily thoughts or interests. and all of this exists at different levels, for different purposes. Compassion comes from a place of understanding another person and acknowledging, recognizing their situation which often involves some sort of conflict. It is to empathize with another person, be able to imagine how they are feeling, and then being aware of your behavior in regards to the circumstance. -

you know... when you think about it. It's such a weird question. It's like asking why is there the universe rather than the universe. The answer comes when duality collapses and you realize its all one. In the experience you may logically understand the world is something, but you also realize it is happening in nothing. It's like a melting ice cube. all the somethings fade into nothing and nothing is fertile soil for something. -
That's some freudian level stuff.
-
You decide! Didn't you watch Leo's video on happiness? your happiness is contingent upon your conditions for happiness. Nothing wrong with saying, having an intimate relationship adds to my life nothing wrong with saying, having an intimate relationship does not add to my life. A better question you may want to ask is what do you value?

There is only now. All of your ideas of past and future are your imagination. Just notice how when you think about the future or the past, its literally made up. Even if its a memory, its just being experienced in the present. There is only now. -

I'll give it a try... In Truth, there is nothing, the something you are perceiving is an illusion, even the fact there is a perception is an illusion. There is just awareness, which your mind may respond, "but awareness is something." However, it can only be explained as such via language and the ego mind because awareness naturally IS, from the ego perspective, but in actuality it's not. A true answer would probably be silence, because the merging of inside and outside is when you truly come to realize nothing is expressed through stuff, but stuff you see is not what you think it is, because it is actually made of nothing. so when you asking "why is there something rather than nothing." It's asking from a place of ego. ego sees something, but you are awareness, and awareness is nothing (quite literally), Maya or contents in awareness are fleeting with no substance, hence why there is truly nothing going on. This becomes pretty clear with psychedelics for me. Maya/the matrix/mind/ego is just that effective at creating the illusion. It feels real. It really helps if you look at life as a dream because thats literally what it is. -

I do not think it is crucial. Mooji is right. you need to eat life to sustain life. “In the yogic culture, we have been telling you for ten thousand years that if you eat foods with a complex genetic code, your system will break down, one way or the other. We arrived at that not by doing million-dollar research, but just by observing what happens in our system when we eat. If you pay enough attention, you will know. Every creature does. A dog just knows what to eat and what not. Human beings do not know because they go by whatever information someone gives them, not by awareness of life. So, do not make food some kind of a religion. If it is a question of survival, eat what is available. But when survival is taken care of, there is a choice. When you have a choice, you must eat sensibly, what is best for your system. The ideal fuel for your body is what leaves you alert, agile, and active. You could experiment. One day, just eat fruits; another day, just eat raw vegetables; yet another day, you cook the vegetables; then you eat fish, you eat meat – try out everything. With what kind of food you are experiencing maximum levels of energy and alertness, please eat that, and you will be healthy.” https://isha.sadhguru.org/us/en/wisdom/article/what-to-eat-making-right-food-choices That is solid advice. So the key is to not fall into an ideology of what is the right way to eat. What you want to do is experiment with yourself, listen closely to your mind-body, how does your body feel, how are you emotions in response to your diet, and be honest. -
