  1. I am pretty happy that I cannot get addicted to caffeine.
  2. Hold this lens lightly. There is much more to life than traps.
  3. It can be if you bullshit yourself with fantasies.
  4. Of course
  5. Your psychedelics could also be laced with rat poison. In the end, you're taking a gamble. But I have not seen a single report of psychedelics laced with fentanyl. It just doesn't make much sense. Psychedelic users and coke/heroine/meth/crack users tend to be very different crowds. There is little sense in cutting a psychedelic with fentanyl. If you are paranoid about it, use drug test kits. But mostly this issue is easily avoided by knowing the reputation of your supplier. Don't buy from sketchy places with no reviews.
  6. Tough. There is no such algorithm. Again, you want to put reality into a box in order to put your mind at ease. But life requires constant vigilence or a crocodile will eat you. There is no certainty that a crocodile won't bite you. Stop trying to live by algorithm and embrace the chaos.
  7. I think it's a genetic thing. There are genes for the metabolism of caffeine so you cannot assume everyone metabolizes it the same way.
  8. If you want to talk about foreign lobbying, no one is more guilty of that than the Israel lobby. Yes, lobbying is one of America's biggest problems. It corrupts everything.
  9. Hasan is a good example of what happens if you get radicalized by the left. That's certainly a trap. But at the same time, honor free speech and don't try to shut sich people down. They have the right to their perspective.
  10. I say, Sadhguru should release his porn collection!
  11. Post your best examples of traps in nature and the animal world. I will then select some of the best ones to share on the blog.
  12. Sure, but that's not what is driving college kids being Green and pissing off Rogan.
  13. That's a good point. That might have been more powerful.
  14. Just don't tell that to your girlfriend. Now that would be a trap
  15. Metaphysical oneness. The unity of all things. The imaginary nature of all differences. If all differences are imaginary, that means everything is ultimately One. This metaphysical connection between all things IS Love proper. And human emotions of love are just a reflection of that Love.
  16. Sadhguru mischaracterizes the point. It's not that God loves you personally. It's that Infinity Is Love. Ecstasy is that realization. Don't confuse love with human emotions. It's way beyond that.
  17. I don't know, depends on the job.
  18. Applying for jobs is more than writing a resume. What you need is a course that teaches you the whole job application process.
  19. @Davino Thanks for the feedback.
  20. You could have an ulcer. You could have a bacterial infection. You could have mold infection. Etc. Find an experienced doctor for digestive issues and work with him to run tests to determine what is going on in your gut. You can take caffeine in pill form, which should not impact your stomach.
  21. 1) Employment is always uncertain. You just do the best you can and hope for the best. And if that doesn't work, you keep trying and trying, or you think about other kinds of work. 2) Optimism is required when applying for jobs. You have to believe in yourself. But of course you also have to prepare yourself properly for interviews, learn how to optimize your resume, portfolio of work, and job applications. So it's not just blind hope, it's about training and preparing yourself well. 3) I wouldn't think about percentages or odds in this case. Your attention should be on how to optimize your entire application process to entice employers, to make yourself a stand-out candidate. The best way to do that is to build up an impressive portfolio of work by doing small personal side projects. Have some work to show your employers. If your work is good enough there is no doubt people will want to hire you. So it's really just about having good work to show. Which is something that's entirely within your control. It's not something you just sit back and hope for. You build it. 4) You can find online courses which teach you how to submit good resumes, how to do good job interviews, and more. You should study this domain and learn all the traps of the job application process and how to do it properly. This is a kind of skill you must learn in addition to your engineering skills.
  22. I don't know what that is alluding to, but I would disagree that you have to be absolutely any thing or any way. Your actions and your mind are not limited to any particular way of being -- other than whatever restrictions you invent for yourself.
  23. Technically it is not correct. There are many things you can know. If that wasn't the case you could not survive. But even beyond the practical stuff, you can know metaphysical stuff. Like, you can know that God exists. But there is also some deeper truth which his statement is pointing to, which is that knowledge is a very limited thing and at the metaphysical level you don't really know what anything is.
