It doesn't need to. Trump's strategy is to drive out a fired up base vs Biden whose base is flacid and divided. This is a battle of which side is more passionate and enthusiastic. Biden has given his base nothing to be excited about, which is a deadly mistake. This is a time when the left needed to be united and fired up.

What I said is a matter of public record and well-documented. We have records, witnesses, and phone calls of Trump and his lackeys trying to prevent a transition of power to Biden. The Jan 6 riot was not an spontaneous accident, it was carefully planned out by Trump and his MAGA political operatives. We have several MAGA people convicted and imprisoned for SEDITION! You just don't follow the news closely enough. You don't appreciate how bad the Trump alterative would be. Biden has been quite decent overall.

It all boils down to selfishness. Musk is so selfish he isn't even aware of his selfisness, he thinks he's doing us a favor. He thinks of himself as a good guy fighting evil woke Communists who want to depopulate the planet, turn his children trans, and bankrupt his companies.

That's certainly possible. I expect him to put his finger on the scale in whatever way he can because that's Musk's whole life philosophy. People were crying about the old Twitter for censorship but the reality is that Twitter is now run to serve one dude's ego. That's corruption in a nutshell. To actually defend free speech Musk would have to lay down his massive ego and allow an equal chance for others to speak, which he will never do. Which is why individuals should not be allowed to own entire media platforms. It's a complete bastardization of democractic values.

You don't even understand that Trump orchestrated a conspiracy to undo Biden's election victory. His administration was actively manipulating and doing everything they could think of to prevent Biden's inaugration. This ended in an insurrection but they did way more stuff behind the scenes than that. Just because their efforts failed does not mean they didn't try to steal the election for Trump. They did, and they will do it again. If you don't know this, then it is pointless to discuss politics with you because your reseach is so poor and your grasp of the facts so shallow. Stop watching Destiny and other social media trash and actually read some news articles by serious people about serious things. You guys are not actually abreast of serious policy and serious news. You are lost in pop-culture politicial memes, noise, and drama.

This is a serious situation. America is close to losing its democracy. This is not a normal political debate. I have a responsibility to point these things out.

Trump did many things and he promised to do many more: He conspired to steal an election and not leave office He incited a violent insurrection that lead to the deaths of people He undermined faith in the American election system He appointed many corrupt judges to important and crucial positions He staffed his adminisation with grifters and criminals He engaged in crimes to win an election He engaged in further crimes beyond that He promised to be dicator on day one He has no intention of leaving office or respecting any election results He is guaranteed to commit more crimes if elected and abuse his office His radical rhetoric has caused much domestic terrorism and violence, including his own assassination The people he will appoint in his admininsration will be radicals and criminals hell-bent on undermining the government from within. This is by their own words.

Of course it depends on the circle you're seeing content from. If it's a right-wing friendly circle like a business or pickup account, then of course that audience will be heavily skewed towards Trump. But this is not a representative sample of voters. The reality is still that Biden will probably win the popular vote even if he loses. So at least half of the voters dislike Trump. Don't let some vocal minority gaslight you. Trump is not popular despite what MAGA blowhards say.

I think Vance is perfect for the MAGA base. They will come to love him because he is shameless and will tell them whatever they want to hear.

Be careful. Many of those comments are fake bots funded by foreign governments and political propaganda groups to manipulate US elections. Do not just blindly trust comments on social media. Many of them can be fakes, designed to manipulate you.

Yes, of course. An oligrach does not want true democracy because it would take away his power. When oligarchs act like they are pro-democracy, as Musk does, they are deluding themselves. Musk is anti democracy in his actions because what he really cares about is power, not equality or fairness. To actually be pro-democracy requires that you surrender your drive for endless power and wealth, so that you have no more vote than anyone else. But all these oligarchs manipulate to give themselves more votes.

Of course! Because the one thing all these people have in common is that they are power-hungry egomanacs who want to impose their will and agenda on everyone else. They are fundamentally anti-democractic oligarchs, despite all their bullshit talk of helping mankind. Their notion of helping mankind is forcing everyone to follow their agenda while they rake in billions. They are capitalist wolves who think they are angels saving the world. When really the world needs saving from them. That is peak Stage Orange. None of these oligarchs is above that. All the biggest political problems in America are directly tied to these oligarchs and capitalist wolves who are fundamentally corrupting democracy with their lust for endless money and power. American democracy has been slowly hollowed out by these people over the last 60 years. That's the real issue no one is talking about admist all the culture war noise. Amd Trump is just more of that on steroids.

There is no real war with Iran. I mean a serious direct war. You underestimate how bad things can get in the hands of a corrupt, ignorant, asshole. If nukes start flying under Biden I would certainly attribute that to Biden. I just don't see that happening. That is true. Trump is the weak one in this case. Backing off with NATO is the "weak" position. It's much more complicated than that, but I agree NATO has gone too far. I agree that the US deep state has some bad ideas that need to be reversed, but I will not vote for a corrupt devil to do that job.

There is truth and wisdom in a policy of reigning in NATO. I just don't entrust Trump with such a sensitive and nuanced matter. He will find some way to clown it up. I also doubt to what extent Trump could actually alter or undo NATO expansion. But even if he could do all that it is not worth the cost of losing our democracy at home. I'm not going to support a corrupt authoritarian just because he might have a few good "anti-war" policies. Because authoritarians are not known to be peaceful people. Maybe Trump starts a war with Iran. You don't know. He's an agent of chaos.

Liberals often register as Republicans in order to vote against them in their primaries, especially in red states where Dem votes are meaningless. So this registration doesn't tell us much.
