  1. Not a rapper, but Russell Simmons (Def Jam founder) is really into yoga. His books are awesome personal development mojo.
  2. @Scholar In that case, you should challenge him to a fight (God help you) P.S. Back in the 70's, when Peter was competing in the world tournament, one of his opponents refused to enter the ring after watching him warming up for the fight.
  3. Peter and his apprentice Brendon (great guy) teach the workshops together usually.
  4. That's not because I talk about it so much, that's because their minds have been imprinted with 70 years of government propaganda from 1st grade through 12th grade. That's what happens when the mind is filled with wrong ideas at an earlier age. People become closedminded beyond repair. It's the exact same dynamic which goes on with religion. For example, when you eat a Snickers bar and drink a Coke, you don't worry, "Will I get brain damage!" But with psychedelics you do. Why? In reality, that Snickers bar and Coke will do more damage to you than a handful of mushrooms. But government has put out all these nasty rumors about drugs frying your brain and you've linked that with psychedelics. It's just culture doing it's thing, distorting reality to suit the egos who created it. I dare you to find me one study which shows that psychedelics damage brains.
  5. Both, of course! (Just get used to embracing paradox.)
  6. @Space Then get an earlier version on Ebay. I refuse to upgrade to Windows 10 because Microsoft are being assholes about it.
  7. @Source_Mystic If you take mushrooms today, and then again tomorrow, tomorrow's trip will be severely reduced due to a built up tolerance. It takes 10 days for the tolerance to gradually return to zero. Which means you shouldn't trip more than once a week on them.
  8. @kieranperez I have dozens and maybe even hundreds of categories which are specific to my needs. Your needs will be totally different.
  9. @Space Of course I don't rely on any stupid OneDrive. Just buy a copy of MS Office. It includes OneNote which runs on your PC/Mac. You can buy older versions on Ebay if you want to save money.
  10. @egoless Stay tuned and see.
  11. @Samuel Garcia I think you just require a lot more practice. It takes YEARS for the monkey chatter to calm down.
  12. @egoless I leave up to the viewer to judge whether I'm brain damaged or not
  13. Categories You can also have a category for daily stuff.
  14. @egoless Mushrooms have roughly a 10 day tolerance window. Most psychedelics do. MDMA is much worse and quickly burns out entirely.
  15. @Adam M No, but meditation and yoga commonly gets that way with deep practice. Whatever happens, the advice almost always is just basically: keep on going, don't get distracted by phenomena, don't quit your practice. The mind tends to resist this entire process like a hooked fish getting pulled ashore.
  16. Digital is best because it will grow VERY large over time and you want search functions, categorizing functions, and formatting functions. Microsoft OneNote is perfect.
  17. @Whoami3 Yes, I consider those safe. As long as you actually are consuming the pure chemical in question, and not some fake.
  18. The situation is very grime for most people. 1/3rd of Americans are at the poverty line. Most people have serious problems with sleeping, fucking, working, consuming, and not giving a fuck. Most people works jobs they hate, barely paying the bills, and can barely get laid, as we see with all these sexual abuse cases in the news. People go to deperate measures to get laid. I would bet that 90%+ people haven't ever read a self-help book in their lives. Which means they have no hope of really growing themselves in the right direction.
  19. @cena655 Vision, vision, vision! You need to find the right vision for your life. And it must be BIG to make the pain of breaking out of your rut worthwhile.
  20. @Gabriel Antonio Very cool. What country is that in?
  21. @Sevi I don't remember how he calls it. Email and ask him. Tell him you specifically want to do dyad work. The interview was not supposed to be released. Please don't share it here.
  22. A) Self-inquiry isn't really about thinking. The thinking portion of it is mostly to get the mind looking silently in the right direction. Advanced forms of self-inquiry involve no thinking, or very little thinking. B) It actually IS possible to think your way into enlightenment. The way that works is, you think until the mind suddenly thinks a thought which sends into an unexpected tailspin straight into The Void. Sort of like when you're talking to a friend about something and then you suddenly realize you left your kitchen stove on. You get this shocking "Oh fuck!!!" moment. C) Thinking can also exhaust itself. After lots of thinking, the mind gets tired and surrenders to non-thinking. D) As you get better at self-inquiry, it will start to look more and more like meditation, and vice versa.
  23. If you don't desire to know the truth, then even God cannot help you. You have been shown the path to Goodness, but you insist on being evil. So be it.
