  1. Why you gotta make a simple thing so complicated? You were given the precise technique.
  2. That's one of the coolest things about psychedelics. They are the best guru. They can show you things that no other guru could. If Buddha or Jesus was ground up into powdered form, he'd be 5-MeO-DMT
  3. For the same reasons people assume Ekhart Tolle -- or anyone for that matter -- is enlightened.
  4. Because he became enlightened as fuck. His level of attainment is very unusual, even among enlightened folk. There is a level of enlightenment at which you appear superhuman, godly to by-standards. Those were the levels reached by people like Jesus and Buddha. It wasn't your run-of-the-mill Neo-Advaita enlightenment. It was a very deep embodiment. One's level of embodiment is what makes people say, "Holy fuck! Look at that guy!" And then that produces tons of loyal followers and free mass marketing. Massive deep enlightenment is the oldest method of viral marketing. Because it's so rare and amazing and inspiring.
  5. @PsiloPutty Since you're still very new to meditation, it's okay. But eventually you'll want to graduate to unassisted meditation practices. Don't spend 5 years meditating using audios, is the point. BTW, don't be listening to that stuff (or anything) when doing yoga. Yoga must be done in silence.
  6. Definitely great advice for people who've already had some attainment and want to reach the highest levels of mastery.
  7. @electroBeam Think of it this way, why would a guru care more about your enlightenment than you do? It's sort of like being in a toxic relationship: You cannot expect your partner to have more respect for you than you have for yourself. However much you respect yourself is the most that your partner will be able to respect you. You are the limit. Likewise, you cannot expect your teacher to care more about your liberation than you care about it yourself. You are the limit. Because you are all there ever was! Ta-da! If you are feeling any less than infinite, that's you limiting yourself with via your infinite power And the only one who will be able to sort it out is you!
  8. None of you here are even 1% close to Mahasamadhi (if such a thing is even possible). So don't worry about it. Focus on experiencing nonduality first. Then you will understand what to do. It's like you're in kindergarten asking, "But how will I ever handle writing my PhD dissertation?" At least finish high school before you ask that.
  9. @Neo Your thoughts will never figure this out. Nonduality exists at a higher plane of consciousness.
  10. Mostly they don't. Which is why most of their students remains forever unenlightened. It's a very crude approach. You give 1,000 people a technique, and it will work on some tiny percentage of them. The rest will be spinning in circles for years/decades, getting basically nowhere. Which is why you shouldn't blindly follow people, ideas, or techniques. You must evaluate for yourself whether it's working and make the proper corrections. There is zero guarantees that a technique will work on you as an individual. Be the CEO of your spiritual journey.
  11. I don't know about that. Chakras activating and weird experiences can happens regardless. In fact, it's to be expected no matter which techniques you do.
  12. There are two facets of enlightenment here which are being confused here: No-self Absolute Infinity You can be conscious of one but not the other. With the No-self facet you realize your entire personal identity, including your body and physical birth, are not real, but just concepts. With the Absolute Infinity facet you notice that every object is infinite and that you are all of them. You are "the world". You are the Infinite Self. And then there are additional other facets. And in the end, all facets become one seamless nondual experience. With no difference between enlightenment and non-enlightenment.
  13. I find those benches painful after 30 mins, even with padding. They are surprisingly uncomfortable.
  14. Don't force yourself to meditate. Just sit and observe as consciousness changes. If your body feels like moving around, let it. The psychedelic should tell you want is right. I've just found its most powerful when you contemplate reality and don't distract yourself.
  15. @egoless Try it and let us know what happens.
  16. You guys noticing yet the dogma that pervades all discussions about nutrition? Wouldn't it be nice to avoid that? Meat vs vegan Conservative vs liberal Science vs religion Christian vs Muslim It's all the same game. The fact is: you just don't know what the best nutrition is for every human on the planet. So all you're doing is speculating rather than admitting: I don't know. Rather than debating, just find what works best for you. My video focused on giving commonsense advice which will work for 90%+ of people, and it works whether you are vegan or a meat-eater. We do not know which foods are 100% the best. We only know which food are relatively better than others, and which foods are total garbage.
  17. @Deepak sadhwani At the very least make sure it's all organic spinach. Why do you eat so much of it? Why not diversify your diet more?
  18. @momo By your logic, shooting a video game character in the head is proof that his head is keeping him alive and running the simulation. Does the character's head produce the Game Over screen? Does a video game character even exist, let alone cause anything?
  19. You don't stay in an isolation tank for 1 week. Again, this is a very specific technique that cannot be half-assed.
  20. @Rinne No, the room must be pitch black all the time. A closet will not work. It's not dark enough. You need a perfectly light-proof chamber.
  21. @Vingger Like that girl in black, but with the top leg laying on the floor. I am suggesting a more relaxed and easy pose. Anyone can do it. You don't need to lift your leg up anywhere fancy. That guy in the picture is not in a good pose. His legs are too high and his heel isn't touching his taint. The legs should be more touching the floor, holding more of your weight. Knees lower to the ground. Use a firm cushion to raise your butt and lower your knees.
  22. No, I swap out various practices for others. I replaced self-inquiry with yoga for example. I still meditate separately on most days. I usually do at least 2 hours of meditative practices per day. But if you're new to this, less is okay. Kriya yoga is a good replacement for meditation once your routine stack builds up to about 40 minutes.
  23. The essence of extroversion isn't being social, but having a system of perception where you exist "out there" in the world more than you do inside your skull. And enlightenment is basically the eradication of the mind (the internal mental space), such that all that remains is the "outside world". The outside world becomes your new mind and body. Actions are no longer run through a gauntlet of internal analysis like they do for introverts. Don't confuse this with becoming social. It's a change in perceptual attitude. Imagine living in a way where "mind" ceased to exist for you. Where you didn't think any thought which was not publicly known to all people around you. Maybe you've noticed, psychedelics make you more extroverted.
  24. I wouldn't worry about full lotus posture. It's unnecessary and actually seems unhealthy for the knees. Just place one heel at your perennium and the other leg folded in nearby but still on the floor.
  25. @zunnyman Give yoga a try and see how things go. Also, it's time to ditch all wheat. Bite the bullet. You won't regret it.
