See, we've never seen the corporate elite truly get their feet held to the fire the way Bernie would do. Big industries like oil and gas, coal, pharma, health insurance, Wall Street, banking, etc. will be in an uproar and will invest billions in ads to manipulate their way back into power. Billions will pour into the Fox News propaganda machine. It will be get real nasty. They will do everything possible to take Bernie down. Because this hits them right at the heart of their survival agenda: money! The health insurance industry will fight to the bitter end like a cornered animal because if Bernie get his way, they're dead overnight. They have nothing to lose. They will go down swinging.

You're missing the deeper mindfuck here: there are no such things are rocks because a rock does not know it is a rock. You project that "rock" onto the world in the same way you project your own ego. A rock doesn't really have an age because who is to say what counts as rock vs not-rock? Only your mind. The true age of the rock is identical to that of your body because they are indistinguishable. Both are Eternal until you project time onto the sitution.

Distinction = difference = form = duality So you are asking, What is difference? If reality is made out of differences, then what is a difference made out of? Notice you get a paradox here because if you say, Difference is made out of nothing. That nothing is still a difference. This question cannot be answered at the level of langauge. An awakening is required. You must somehow jump out of the domain of language altogether because all that language is are differences, so you can't use language to understand difference itself. Creating more differences is not the same thing as groking what difference is.

Most people are not interested in being aware of it because you'd be undermining their very way of life! Self-deception is a VAST topic with many sub-topics. It's the bulk of how humans fool themselves into believing they are human. The trick is that this stuff cannot simply be taught or explained, it requires deep self-reflection, contemplation, and consciousness work -- which virtually nobody is willing to do. And even if you do it, you'll still get tripped up in self-deception. Self-deception does not joke around. It's seriously deceptive.

Gradualism has been tried with Obama and it failed. Another 8 years of someone like Obama is going to make things even worse. The system needs some serious change of the status quo. A Green version of Trump would be 20 year old Green Peace activist with bipolar disorder who wants to jail people for eating fish and force children to eat soy, who faces a criminal case for sabotaging factory farms.

Bernie has already shifted the Overton window to the left. Thanks to Bernie the democratic party is much more progressive. Free Healthcare is now supported by many democrats. The most important thing is not policy per se but the changing in collective worldview. The most important thing is not to free the slaves but to get people to realize that slavery is not right. Once people realize that slavery is not right, the freeing of the slaves will be inevitable. Moscow Mitch can certainly win in the short term, but not in the long term because he is clearly on the wrong side of history. Because consciousness is always evolving to higher levels. Moscow Mitch can dig his heels in all he wants, but he will eventually lose that battle. Such obvious self-bias will not be sustainable. He is already the most hated politician in Washington.

If the mind is deeply stilled a nondual state of consciousness will eventually set in, because duality is created by an active mind. But merely 5 minutes of stillness will not be enough. You need long periods of stillness over many days, weeks, months, years. It can't just be a temporary stillness, the mind actually has to rewire itself to be less active by default. From stillness insight can arise. This insight leads to enlightenment.

It's not so much that Bernie will actually be able to implement his ideas. Most of them will never pass the Senate. But he will raise a public spectacle and shame the Republicans so much that it will be glorious. That's the beauty of Bernie. He's just the cranky old man who will badmouth the Washington devils. He's what Trump should have been.

Wait till you realize that clean vs dirty is a duality. That's when everything goes full-circle and you find yourself smearing your feces on your neighbor's dishes. Then when he calls the cops and they arrest you, you'll tell them that freedom vs captivity is just a duality. Then when the prison psychiatrist examines you, and asks you what's wrong with you, you'll tell him that right vs wrong is just a duality. Then when he suspects you're insane, you'll tell him that that sanity vs insanity is just a duality. Then they will put you in the insane asylum where you will be safely kept away from infecting the minds of ordinary folks with the Truth. And finally you'll die and realize it was all a dream anyway, since life vs death is just a duality

After you die, keep dying until you live through all possible lives. Then you will have lived through it all Enlightenment is not about seeing through my eyes. Enlightenment is about something even more radical: realizing you are the entire universe. To realize you are the entire universe does not require you to live through many different lives. You can realize it by staying in your current life. It's not about becoming multicentered but rather becoming omnipresent/nothing. This does not allow you to see through others eyes. You just realize you are EVERYTHING regardless of what is visible. Your consciousness goes so infinite that visual data simply doesn't matter. Bottomline is: you are too attached to visual forms. They are not important in this pursuit. You need to turn inward and inquire what you are. That will then explode into infinity. The nothing you find through self-inquiry is also infinity, since nothing and infinity must be identical. This infinity is what connects you to all living beings without any need to look through their eyes. I don't need to experience your life to know I am you. All I need to do is realize I am infinite.

You're talking about here is dual vs nondual states of consciousness. In a nondual state of consciousness the notion of a self is missing. You and reality are one. Subject and object are one. How long it lasts can vary depending on many factors. It could last a minute or a lifetime.

It's hard to say. I would avoid it just to be safe. You can find some good organic toothpastes without fluoride. And obviously you should not be drinking tap water. So this is a pretty easy fix. All you gotta do is ditch the cheap chemical toothpaste, which cannot be good for you regardless of the fluoride question. Majority of people are just for the status quo because they haven't even bothered to think of anything else.
