Now you're talking about mastery. Mastery requires focus, yes. But even so, you can master a few things in life. -

But if you only have 1 passion in life, to me that means something is wrong. Out of all this stuff you can do in life, you're only passionate about 1 thing??? This is so limited. You should have more passions than you have time in the day to follow up on them. FALL IN LOVE WITH LIFE! Imagine if someone only had 1 favorite video game and refused to play any others. We'd think this is so limited and sad. That's my reaction when someone says they only have 1 passion. -

Depends on how broad your definition of ego is. Generally no, because even highly enlightened masters still have biases. And we generally say they have no ego. Maybe they don't have ego, but they still have a mind. And the mind is full of biases. Even the body is full of biases. Your dick wants what it wants. It doesn't want all things equally, otherwise you'd be fucking dogs and trees. An enlightened master still wants a hot girl over an ugly one. -

Psychedelics are not so good for changing your baseline state of consciousness. They are best used for breakthroughs. -

Without passions, what will you do once you awaken? You see, after awakening life still continues. Chop wood, carry water, follow your passions. There's really no good alternative to following your passions. The alternative is a dull life. Do not make the mistake of thinking that passion and awakening are somehow mutually exclusive. Just the opposite! The greatest spiritual masters are passionate people! And their passion is not limited to teaching or talking about reality. This is why my LP Course is still valid, even if you pursue enlightenment. -

You will never reach such a point. As long as you are in this body, you will have biases and you will not be able to love totally. And that is okay. Life is about limitation and selective love. It's not about total love. Don't try to make love to a crocodile. -

Think of how a mirage or a rainbow works. -
You keep getting it until one day you get it so deep you go POOF! and disappear. Then you really got it!

I would challenge you to cultivate other passions. There is lots to be passionate about. How deeply do you understand reality if you lack passion?? -

Very well put. Thanks me! -

That's precisely my point. You probably have lots of shadow material to work out. And you should find something about life that you're passionate about. This should come prior to enlightenment. Build up your passion. You are at risk for avoiding the fundamentals and trying to skip straight to the end, which will likely fail. Learn basic arithmetic before you jump into calculus. I don't sense that you are strong enough yet to handle enlightenment. Of course you are welcome to prove me wrong. Build a normal life that you can be reasonably satisfied with. It's crucial to learn how to be passionate about life. Later you can transcend it. But your current nihilistic attitude is not good. -

If I focus on it. But usually I don't focus on it. Suffering is not something that I care about or think about much. I do my work because I'm passionate about the ideas I talk about. Not to reduce suffering. -
There you go! Excellent.

@WhatAWondefulWorld Be careful getting ahead of your skiis. People here are pushing you down some hardcore spiritual path which is not usually suitable for people your age. This can screw up your development. I would start by building up a basic functional life before you go chasing Buddhahood. Only a certain rare caliber of person is ready for that. -

I have been robbed of the illusion of "others". -
Guys who buy into Red Pill have been hurt and wounded. What they lack is love. So they lash out and create ideologies to armor their wounds.

That's always been the problem with being stupid

Don't jump to such conclusions. You are so young that all of that can be turned around. You have a TON of chance, you don't even realize 1% of it yet. At your age don't get so hung up on enlightenment. You're too young for that yet. Focus more on building an enjoyable life first. Find things you are passionate about and pursue those. Find something artistic or creative to invest your time in. All my enlightenment talk is too premature for you. Focus on basic self-help. -

Thanks guys, I do appreciate and feel your support and love. I still have new videos planned for now. This isn't really a new development. From the very first video I've known my videos were pointless. It's a game. -

Like I said, as long as you're alive, you'll have some bias. -
@UnconsciousHuman Great work! That's real learning right there! That's how all growth work should look. Empirical and not based on ideology or self-serving theory. Just keep in mind that attraction online is very different from attraction in-person. Your looks matter far more online. If you're an above average looking guy, online will give you an advantage. If you're below average, stop doing online and focus on in-person.

@Camerong That is the cost of Infinite Consciousness. Do you truly want to be so conscious that you have total omniscience over reality? If so, you'll need 5-MeO-DMT. You won't get there sober. If you just want to be at peace and out of the ego-mind, that you can do sober. -

For me, not at all. Can't speak for you. -
Leo Gura replied to EntheogenTruthSeeker's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No, I never said that. My top concern has always been understanding and accessing the highest levels of consciousness, not escaping suffering or maintaining a moderate sober state. So that's what I pursued. And I feel now that I've gotten to the top of it: Infinite Consciousness. Now my plan is to see how closely I can get to that in sober life. I'm very far away from that at this point. It's quite ordinary. Nothing fancy like you want. Right. What you want is a basic enlightenment.
