@WonderSeeker Science is still valid in the relative domain. Science is chasing your tail if your goal is to understand the deepest underpinnings of reality. But if you're doing something like saving cities from earthquakes, science is great and necessary. You just have to understand what the limits of science are. P.S. What about saving us from Graboids? That's the general problem with progressives. They are so passionate and ideological about it that they cannot clearly see that most of the country is NOT with them! If most of the country was progressive, Bernie would have easily beat Biden. Instead, Bernie lost, and he lost significantly, not just by a little bit. Progressives are 30 years ahead of the curve. Which tends to make them impractical. Most of the country does not want to see their culture change. Even if it hurts them economically. They cannot see the connection between changing the culture and systemic economic changes. 95% of voters do not think systemically. But people like Kyle and Krystal don't understand that. They overestimate the intelligence of the public.

Pop music and party/club culture is very Orange. She's basically just singing about being a club slut. Nothing new here. That's what the kids like these days.

That's exactly what I said. That is the kind of black that white folks tolerate. They don't want too black. It will freak them out. And even so, Kamala will still get plenty of racist hate from the right-wing, as Obama did.

This election will be all about energizing voters. Many otherwise moderate women and blacks will find Kamala exciting. Suburban neolib women should love Kamala. That is an important demographic. So overall Biden made a good choice, even though she ain't progressive. But neither is he, so she is perfect for him.

Kamala will be good for beating Trump. No worries there. She is black in the same way Obama was black: a comfortable level of blackness for the average American.
