The apple is not merely caused by the tree, there is an infinite-dimensional network of causation giving rise to that apple. The causes are not only infinite sequentially across time and space, they are infinite across infinite other dimensions. And thus the root cause of the apple is Infinity (aka God). It's not merely that Infinity caused the apple. The apple IS Infinity! The apple IS God, creating itself.

I'm planning some videos on a new topic I'm calling "Conscious Politics". It's a Tier 2 approach to politics and government which aims to go beyond the left/right divide. Well, interested or not, it's coming, so brace yourselves! Some of it will be controversial & radical, but also inspiring. If you lean conservative some of the things which will be said you will probably deny and react against. But there will also be critiques of liberal ideologies too. It's a tricky topic to discuss because it tends to polarize and distract people from doing the inner work. And yet it must be discussed. So we're damned if we do and damned if we don't.

You are conflating different discussions and levels of reality. When I talk about politics I am talking within a relative domain of human survival. When I talk about simulation theory I am talking about metaphysical issues which tap into the absolute domain.

@captainamerica If you go chasing happiness, you will get neither Truth nor happiness. If you forget about happiness and work towards the Truth with full earnestness, you will get Truth, which is ultimate happiness. The problem is that your idea of what true happiness is, is totally wrong. So chasing your ideas of happiness will never lead you to true happiness and instead create more suffering. It is not possible to even know what true happiness is without Truth.

The current Dem party is aligned with many social dem policies. Corporate interests are a strong influence in any major party and they will continue to be until we pass a Constitution Amendment banning money in politics. The Dem party just needs more progressive and non-corporate social dem voices. We don't need a new fringe party. Just elect more folks like AoC and slowly take the party over from the inside.

Progressives have to be very careful how they frame themselves because the lower stages will deliberately seek to misunderstand and demonize new ideas. Biden was able to win because the socialist label simply could not be reasonably stuck to him. Only a total idiot would believe that Biden is a socialist.

I don't like this negative framing. To me the pursuit of Truth is the most positive thing. It has nothing to do with suffering.
