This guy is the epitome of a systems thinker. Amazing! He makes all other political analysis seem like the work of shit-eating cavemen.

Ahahahahaha... You're joking, right? The NSA is spying on EVERYONE with no accountability. This is already the case. There are no wiretapping or privacy laws for them. And if you spy on someone long enough, you will catch them doing something wrong. The NSA has a log of every porn site you visited right now in their database. They probably even have copies of the porn you downloaded on their servers. They certainly have copies of every email and text message you've ever sent or received. But like I said, there will always be criminals and black markets. The only point that matters is that they will never be allowed go mainstream.

@Jennjenn There is difference between teaching people what to think vs teaching them how to think. My entire body of work is centered around teaching non-dogma. Of course people will still turn it into dogma, but that's on them.

This is old news. You're years late to the party: https://pando.com/2014/12/19/tor-founder-warns-that-threatened-attack-on-network-could-be-really-bad-allowing-traffic-to-be-hijacked/ https://threatpost.com/researchers-demonstrate-tor-network-hijack-method-102411/75793/

Don't mislead the kid with your doom and gloom. Let him live his life without your fearmongering.

Of course he is correct that most egos are not ready to handle the Truth that psychedelics unleash. Which is what causes bad trips. -

@FlowerNote Have you not heard of how the Feds hijacked the entire Tor network for a few days in order to take down darknet markets like SilkRoad and AlphaBay? There's always loopholes and workarounds. It's just a matter of resources. Every single major darknet market operator has been caught, even when they are in other countries. Because no decent government can allow darknet markets to exist.

That's been going on for 300 years. The only surprise is thinking it ever stopped. The last 10,000 years of human history is just a countless series of tribalist and nationalist conflicts. These are the oldest tricks in the book. I bet you if you find the oldest piece of human writing, it will have something to do with tribal conflict. -
How is it not? Just because the indoctrination is something you consider "positive" doesn't make it any less indoctrination. But it happens to be true. So that's your problem to understand.

Libertarianism is a particularly American disease. But watch out, disease can spread. Especially as most of the world is still at stage Blue and libertarianism only becomes appealing at stage Orange. China, India, Russia, Korea, Japan, etc. could all develop their own flavors of libertarianism.

Don't be so sure about that. Feds could build a system to track of VPNs. The Federal gov is the original blockchain technology. No one is in control of the Feds, not even themselves. Which means it will never be a serious global currency. I hear far too many pie-in-the-sky pipe dreams from BitCoin libertarians on how it will be the next internet. And I'm calling bullshit on that.

The regulations on not voted on, they are imposed by the Feds.

That's what my Life Purpose Course guides you how to do.

@kireet Look man, you are the CEO of your life. You figure out what you want, when you want it, what order your want it in, and what is required to get. My job is to share profound insights about how reality works. My job is not to tell you how to live.
-
@kireet Given your age and consequent immaturity and lack of development, you should focus on learning the basics of survival in a healthy way. Spend the next 5 to 10 years mastering self-reliant survival. You can still do a bit of spiritual practice along the way. And you can always contemplate stuff and study theory for the future. Most humans on this planet work 40 hours per week AND they go to church every Sunday (or whatever their local equivalent of Sunday church is). So it's not like spiritual growth requires you to stop working. Most people have day jobs AND do a bit of spiritual growth. Why can't you? Education is something you do every week for the rest of your life, on top of whatever else you're doing.

So what? That's like saying my head is a receptor for a hat. That doesn't mean my head will produce a hat come winter time. -
Yes, and having a kid with a free mind is also exhausting. "Mommy, if God exists, who created God?" "Don't ask stupid questions, sweetie. Just pray to baby Jesus." The purpose of all indoctrination is to make life easier for those in power.

Feds have successfully shut down every single popular darknet marketplace. So your characterization of the situation is just wrong. Like I said, there will always be blackmarkets, hackers, and criminal enterprises, but they will always be shut down given enough time and they will never become mainstream. Just because piratery exists does not mean that piratery will be a viable mainstream thing. Most people don't want pirates. And for good reason. Pirates tend to be devils. When some asshole hacker steals all your BitCoin, you will think twice about how good it is that BitCoin is unregulated. The whole point of regulation is that when some asshole steals my credit card number and makes unauthorized charges, my bank immediately pays me back the money -- leaving me a happy camper. One time I had some scammer charge $5000 on my bank account. Another time he went on a shopping spree in Hollywood, buying all sorts of expensive luxury stuff.
-
BitCoin mixers are mostly illegal from what I understand. The Feds shut down mixers all the time. Of course you will always have black markets. But it will never be allowed to go mainstream because it's so dangerous. You have to distinguish between fringe stuff and mainstream stuff. Fringe stuff has always existed and will always exist. You can always trade blood diamonds, but it will never rival the dollar.

@Shmurda The problem with all such claims is that you must find a way to verify it in your direct experience, otherwise it's just a New Age religion. -

@Kalki Avatar His explanation is far too simplistic. There is no evidence that the brain is able to naturally produce all of the various psychedelic molecules, of which there are 100+. I've taken some molecules which I see no way that the brain would produce. Just because the brain can produce some DMT (and even that still up for debate), doesn't mean it can access the 100+ other states of consciousness naturally. By his silly logic, the human body can naturally produce Viagra because the body is able to respond to Viagra. Well, that's not how medicine works. There's thousands of molecules your body can respond to but cannot naturally produce. Hundreds of thousands of people take psychedelics and never get brain tumors. If psychedelics caused brain tumors, they'd be a lot more common. Why doesn't Joe Rogan have a brain tumor? -
This is an anarchist joke. BitCoin is not anonymous at all. All BitCoin transactions are easily tracked by the Feds. And it can certainly be regulated. BitCoin is worthless without exchanges. And all exchanges are already totally regulated by the Feds. The people behind the recent BitCoin Twitter scam have already been caught simply by tracing their BitCoin exchange IDs. The Feds will never allow something like BitCoin to exist without near-total regulation. Because an unregulated currency is one of the greatest evils that can exist. Anarchists and libertarians fool themselves into thinking that an unregulated currency will be great, but they have no idea of how freedom works, so they don't understand that actually it will be evil. However bad you might think the US dollar is, an unregulated currency is 100x worse.
