  1. My commentary on GF was said in the the context of people calling the cop who killed him a murderer. I don't really agree with that characterization. I see it as an example of excessive force, not murder. If you don't like my perspective. That's fine. You're entitled to your own perspective. But that does not make my perspective low-consciousness or toxic in this case. Nor does it make me racist or in support of the right-wing attacks on Floyd and a blind defense of the police. To me, the perspective that the cop was a murderer is a low-consciousness perspective lacking understanding or concern for the cop's perspective and agenda in order to serve the bigger cause of addressing systemic racism. I totally get that, but I am not willing just blindly jump on the anti-cop bandwagon. Cops are not as bad as they are being portrayed to be. Again, there is a more nuance to this issue than either right-wingers or left-wingers usually acknowledge. I am careful not to smear cops as bad guys because of how dangerous this perspective can get. Corruption of course exists within the police, but the vast majority of cops are doing good work under very challenging circumstances and they need our support even though we also need to push for systemic reform and better training and accountability. I don't agree with popular leftist framing which portrays cops as the enemy. Cops are simply human, working within a flawed system. BLM does go too far sometimes with its rhetoric, which hurts its cause.
  2. Watching Borat is insufferably cringe. How does Sasha not break character? He has a god-like ability to stomach cringe.
  3. That is true. He's a capitalist. Although he is for a wealth tax. I guess you could ask Bill Gates to be a socialist, but that's a rather big ask of a 60 year old billionaire who was thoroughly conditioned in the capitalist system.
  4. We have dozens of threads on this question. Go search for them. There is nothing new to say. It's all been said.
  5. It probably wasn't good. Then again, life was cheap back then.
  6. It's so silly how much hate Bill Gates gets. He's like the most sane and reasonable guy. You couldn't ask Bill Gates to be a better human other than maybe awakening.
  7. You can't debate cancers of the mind any more than you can debate a guy in a suicide vest.
  8. Actually the theory about Rome is that the lead pipes were not so bad because minerals build up in the pipes creating a hard internal coating which keeps the water from touching the lead. But who knows how effective that is.
  9. 1) George Floyd was resisting arrest very much. Excessive force was used. Trial should occur to sort out the details. And I still support BLM. Yes, the Floyd case was a self-fulfilling prophecy of his fear. But that doesn't justify the excessive use of force. My take on Floyd is nuanced. I did not "victim shame" him. 2) Dating advice has a very specific pragmatic context. It is not spiritual advice and is meeting the guy where he's at and telling him what he needs to hear to correct himself. 3) I tend to make posts on this forum rather casually and sometimes flippantly, because I make thousands of posts. These are not carefully constructed rhetorical masterpieces with hours of research. I'm spitballin here. Sometimes the posts are sloppy or rough. 4) Sometimes my tone is obnoxious and arrogant. I will work on that in the future. You'll definitely see that improve as I grow.
  10. @No Self Boiled down the its essence the question is this: All this QAnnon stuff -- is it aligned with the highest love and consciousness, or fear and resentment? That's how you tell it's wrong. That's how you tell conspiracy theories are wrong. Of course the problem is that a QAnnon devil will try to convince you that QAnnon is aligned with love and consciousness because it is protecting children from evil pedophiles. Which is precisely why QAnnon is so toxic. It's a self-reinforcing mind virus.
  11. There should be a federal agency which sets ToS standards across all social media sites, with clear guidelines for bannable speech and an appeals court process. For example, it should be against ToS to accuse people of being pedophiles without tangible evidence. As this is slander/libel. Speech inciting violence or hatred or racial conspiracies such as "Jews controlling the world" should also be bannable. Of course there will be many grey areas and devils will try to exploit and skirt the guidelines no matter what. It's a classic problem of how to police bad actors. But we already know how to do this: police department and courts. We basically need an online police department and online courts for online crimes. You cannot compare 4chan and Reddit with Facebook. Facebook is far more mainstream and potentially damaging. 4chan is a niche site for toxic trolls and agnsty teenage anime fans. It's not mainstream at all. Reddit is also pretty niche compared to Facebook, but even Reddit has standards. They will ban QAnnon at some point if they haven't already. Banning from Facebook, YT, Twitter, and Apple is hugely important. If you're not on those platforms, you're basically a nobody. The Alex Jones ban was very effective at stopping his garbage from spreading. There will always be toxic niche sites. What's important is the mainstream sites are safeguarded from viral garbage.
  12. You won't get banned. Voice away. I would never ban a person for constructive criticism. I ban people who are trolls and gaslighters.
  13. @peqkno Another tack you could try is to get him to FEEL that what he's engaged in is dirty. His heart knows the ideology he's engaged in is not pure if he just bothers to feel into it. Search your feelings, father...
  14. Would you feel lonely if you hugged an object/person you love so much you and the object/person became one?
  15. When you finally become conscious of Infinity, you will scream out, "OH MY FUCKING GOD! OF COURSE IT'S INFINITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" You don't understand my point. Infinity dwarfs anything you can possibly think or imagine. It's Infinite!
  16. Infinity is not a number. It's EVERYTHING. THIS. You are Infinity.
