  1. Of course The visual field has infinite resolution, unlike a TV screen. Your visual field is not made out of pixels -- in case you haven't noticed.
  2. He is formulating spiritual truths through his particular mind and POV. Not sure what else you expect. Any articulation of Absolute Truth will be limited and biased. Does his mind have impurities? Of course. Most teachers do.
  3. They gotta justify that new $70 price point somehow.
  4. It's simple: You must do what will actually work.
  5. Don't hold your breath. That will take another decade or so. Texans are very proud of their ignorance
  6. The first few years of getting into self-help are the hardest as you flood your mind with self-help theory but aren't yet serious enough to be doing sufficient practices. This leads to a lot of fancy new ideas and ideals, but very little results. This is normal and not really a problem because you need to build some theoretical foundation before your fully roll up your sleeves. But don't drag it out forever.
  7. I propose they equip Trump with a bluetooth shock collar.
  8. Becoming great requires doing a lot of challenging things that will force you to grow. The ego would much rather play video games than face all that crap.
  9. You can and should certainly apply it at the individual level. It is a measure of individual development, not merely culture. You lack understanding of hippies. Many hippies are more advanced than people think. You should distinguish true hippies vs those who merely parrot hippie ideals and values. Hippie values and stereotypes are rampant in pop culture, but very few people are able to actually embody that. Stage Green is very deep. It will take you a decade of work to understand and embody it. Stage Green is not supposed to understand systems. That is Yellow. Consider the possibility that it will take you 15 years of work just to get to the level of a solid hippie. The problem is that your understanding of SD is still just surface level. You'll need a lot more experience to fully understand it. Keep practicing and stay humble.
  10. Nobody is going to tell you how to do that. You'd have to be a genius businessman and innovator. Realistically you will never succeed in that without having years of experience working in AAA games. Money alone is not enough. You need to understand how game development and game biz works. You can't understand that from the outside looking in. AAA game development is so toxic for good reason: it's virtually impossible to do it any other way. But you won't understand that without actually shipping some AAA games. If you are serious, I would drop the notion of AAA games and just focus on making quality small games with artistic integrity. This is much more doable and healthy. And if you succeed enough in that, you might one day have a shot at making a larger game. Although you might be a fool to do it. You'd be a fool to give up successful indie dev for working with a 300 person team on some conservative corporate monstrosity. Don't get obsessed with the size of a game. Just focus on quality games. Your goal should be to create something like the next Minecraft rather than the next Halo or Assassin's Creed. Small indie games can still be massively successful. Minecraft pulled in $2 billion.
  11. If anyone tells you there's nothing to understand, they don't understand.
  12. For Sam Seder nirvana is an endless queue of libertarian callers.
  13. Did you know the word gullible doesn't exist in any dictionary?
  14. Life purpose is not an ultimate solution to the problem of meaninglessness. Only hardcore spirituality can resolve that.
  15. Highly dubious. There's no way something like that will scale. That is many decades away from wide adoption.
  16. You have to understand that most people simply do not follow politics. For example, my brother hadn't followed the news for like 3 years since Trump got elected. So he basically knew nothing about what was going on other than what he heard from me or from his wife. And he's a smart, college-educated guy. He just doesn't care about politics or government. Of course he knows Trump is a fool, but still. It's easy to never follow politics at all. Most people have simply tuned out of politics and government. As if it wasn't even a thing. Such people don't see all the harm being done by the Trump admin. They just assume it's gov as usual. But it isn't.
  17. I think people who love a strong-man will love Trump's aggressive style. That is all his supporters already though. They love him regardless. They will see it as a clear victory against sleepy Joe. Overall it seems like Trump's over-aggressive style turned off most centrist/undecided voters, which is who matters most: But don't forget, the dumber people are, the more they will be swayed by aggression and bullying. And the American voters have always been pretty dumb. Anyone who isn't obviously anti-Trump at this point is so dumb and uninformed that it's hard to even justify allowing them vote. But here we are. Democracy by the selfish and ignorant.
  18. Trump became more unhinged in the second half which didn't look as good for him.
  19. Psychedelics will humble him up real quick.
