Not buying it unless he's holding up a copy of today's newpaper. -
I wasn't aware he was banned. I will be investigating this further and having a talk with the Mod who banned him. I'll post an update once I find out what happened. If he was unfairly banned, he will be re-instated. Although he did have 12 warning points accumulated. Remember, once you reach 20 points, the system will automatically ban you.

Yeah, that's called selling your soul to the devil. And if she was hot, she could have easily attracted a number of less evil men. It takes a special kind of she-devil to sleep with Trump, hang around, and then decide to marry him. -

When a low consciousness person stubs his toe on a rock, he yells at it and blames it. He might even try to kick it back in anger. Cause it's obviously the rock's fault. -

They could easily just erect a glass pane between them. You wouldn't even see it. Although it would be more appropriate for them to wheel Trump on stage in a glass cage. -

Trumpists are fundamentally incapable of taking responsibility for anything. Just like their master. Scapegoating is the fascist's forte. -

Any woman who stays with Trump for this long is as corrupt and devilish as he is. You can't hang around Trump's orbit for long without being a devil. -

The thing I'm more worried about is if Biden catches covid before the election and bites the dust. Then we are fucked. Biden needs to be walking around in a hermetically sealed bubble until Nov 3. -

You just made a justification for the assassination of all bad leaders. -

That is how leaders like Trump were dealt with in eras past. People will not sit quietly while they are misled by a selfish asshole for years. Leaders take on the survival needs of those they lead. And if they fail to meet those needs, they will not be allowed to survive. -
Leo Gura replied to Matt Skinner's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
No. I see no connect there. Even if Trump survives this, he still comes out looking like a fool. Most people understand that Trump has been a failure on covid. -

That is always possible, but not likely because there is no one quite like him, and also because the public will have a very source taste left in their mouth for narcissists for decades to come. It will be similar to how Germany reacted post-Hitler. The country will not be in the mood to elect some new Trump copycat. -

Not saying I wish for this, but if he dies, his admin will finally be over. The cult of Trump will be beheaded like a viper. Think about how many people will suffer and die if Trump gets relected for 4 more years. Also think of the damage done to the country if Trump loses but refuses to conceed. Which basically gauranteed now. It is rather absurd to place so much importance on Trump's life when he has total disregard for the lives of his fellow citizens. -

There is no way Pence is beating Biden. If Trump is out of commission, Biden wins. I don't see this helping Trump at all. He will not score sympathy points, just ridicule for acting like an arrogant fool. -

Evangelicals are all-in for Trump. You ain't gonna convince them. Especially now with this Supreme Court pick. But if you really want to be precise with Christian terminology, then the most appropriate label is: Anti-Christ Trump is the Anti-Christ. But of course the Christians are so deluded that they have taken the Anti-Christ as their savior. And you will never convince them of it because they have sold their soul to the devil long ago. -
It's not a matter of hate. The worst thing he is doing is hollowing out a competent bureaucracy and filling it with corrupt stooges and grifters. The administration's whole plan from day 1 was to "deconstruct the administrative state", as Steve Bannon says. Every single major government agency has been hollowed about by political appointees from corporations, deregulating everything from education to communication to the environment. They deliberately want to make government work bad so that they could privatize it and leech off the profits. Every single one of Trump's appointees are leeches, parasites, and grifters. Their agenda is to loot the public coffers to enrich themselves and their friends. Corruption 101. Anything else Trump does is secondary to this.

Hard to say. Supposedly there are some juicy cases brewing against him. But I wouldn't hold my breath on him actually getting prison time. -

Because when you demonize people or groups it makes you look ignorant. What's needed is a clinical description, not a moralistic one. When you say "Socialists are evil" or "Republicans are evil" or "Rapists are evil" this makes you look dumb. -
Leo Gura replied to Matt Skinner's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Yes, but that's precisely the thing we want to avoid: demonization from the classic Christian perspective. -
Leo Gura replied to Matt Skinner's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
No because most people would perceive that as demonization. Mainstream people do not understand our technical use of the term devil. Animal or clown is better. Biden should not have apologized for calling him a clown. Clown is the perfect term. Biden also needs to call him a malignant narcissist, con artist, and sociopath. All these terms hit the bullseye. Repeat these terms over and over again a dozen times in each debate. And "a failure". Keep calling Trump a failure. This is like a dagger in his heart that will drive him apeshit. "You are a failure in business" "You are a failure in healthcare" "You are a failure in diplomacy" "You are a failure in trade" "You are a failure at the environment" "You are a failure at civil rights" "You are a failure in women's rights" "You are a failure at immigration" "You are a failure in tax policy" "You are a failure as a husband" "You are a failure as a father" "You are a failure as a friend" "You are a failure as a citizen" "You are a failure as a president" "You are a failure at golf" "You are a failure at every single thing you've ever done other than bullshitting people. And even that has now failed. And the proof of it is all the over-compensating you do." "Everything you call winning is actually just failure." -

The most powerful solvent for devilry is direct truth. It's like yanking Trump's pants down. Trump weasels out any time the truth is not directly thrown in his face. Debating him on policy is pointless. You just gotta confront him point-blank on his devilry. Right to his face. "Everyone around you knows that you behave like a devil. Do you deny it? Shall we go down the list of every act of devilry you committed in the last 4 years?" -
Leo Gura replied to Matt Skinner's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Biden could play it off smooth, like: "Listen here, Jack. You're actin' like an animal again and the people at home don't dig it. I gotta call it like it is, man. I'm not tryin' to be mean folks, but look at him. Just look at him. I'm just sayin' what we're all seeing up here."
