There may be strong cultural factors at work. Women are not as encouraged to pursue hardcore spiritual practice akin to a Zen monk. It's less socially acceptable for women to do that, and the ones who would do that are more masculine-skewing. Women are more people-oriented while men are more thing/fact-oriented. Women are more feeling-oriented while men are more truth-oriented. Of course both halves must be balanced out in a healthy and integrated way. But culture creates some strong pressures and norms. Hormones and biology does too.

Application will get you more results. Reading broadly will get you a big picture understanding, but little else to show for it. You gotta balance between the two. I like to first get a big picture understanding, and then use it to inform which narrow things I will focus on applying. Without a big picture it's easy to fall into the trap of applying things which are of little ultimate significance. How do you know what is worth applying if you don't have a big picture?

This sounds good in theory but in practice there are strong expectations with these things. From the guy's POV, just some simple easy sex is all win-win. But that's not how it is from most girls' POV. Obviously in the OP's case he felt he won and she felt she lost. It was not a win-win for her as you imagine. When deep intimacy is built, especially using spiritual lingo and techniques, and then converted into a ONS, this can be very hurtful. It leads the other person on.

It's a general truism. And there is a truth to it. You don't need to rigorously define the terms. It's not really a belief. It's just that without sex there basically is not enough investment from her to constitute anything that would be worth calling a "relationship". Sex is what makes things serious. Until then it's just games and no commitment. I don't have a rule about it per se. I just know from experience that you don't have a chicken until your egg is hatched, and sex is the hatching of the egg here. Many eggs don't hatch, so calling them chickens is jumping the gun. Yes, context matters. Boyfriend frame is more appropriate outside the nightclub. I'm not saying you should chase after the most girls. But even to get that one solid girl you gotta break some eggs and you gotta sleep with her. Yes, you don't want to treat them as special, but the fact is they are special in that they have massive sexual abundance due to their rare genetic giftedness. You can know this and yet not put her on a pedestal. It's hard to do because you have to train yourself to not care about her beauty, which is not easy because it's so obvious to everyone. You can't let her beauty weaken your poise. The more beautiful she is the harder it will be for you to keep your poise and cool. And once you lose your poise and cool, she loses attraction for you. This sounds nice in theory but unfortunately it's not true. The hotter the girl the more she gets approached by guys. If you were a really hot girl your phone would be blowing up with guys trying to get with you using whatever tricks they can muster. Offering you all sorts of free shit. Hot girls are used to being treated like royalty. They use this power to maximize their survival. If you had this power you would use it too.

There might not be enough leverage in only doing Medicare For All in one state. The point is to get economic leverage over the healthcare and insurance industries. It doesn't do much good to create a single payer system unless there are also price caps on healthcare providers. The bottom line is that healthcare providers are way overpriced because they run a cartel and have bought up the politicians. I'm not sure if Newsom is progressive enough to push that through. And even if he did it would not be nearly as effective as a national system. They are not left-wing enough to do something so drastic. They are corrupted by healthcare lobbying and conflicts of interest. If you and your family have excellent, overpriced health insurance that gives you access to the best doctors, what incentive do you have to get rid of that by placing yourself and your family on the same playing field as a poor black woman? Rich people have much to lose with Medicare For All. It would be a huge downgrade to their elite healthcare access. Hence the rich and powerful block Medicare For All from happening. It's like trying to convince a guy with a Rolls Royce to sell it off, give the money to the government, and use the bus instead. He hates this idea.

Because you might say that is "pure" consciousness. And because humans are so attached to forms that they can't see the pure empty consciousness at the heart of things. You could use that as a technique. But you could also do the opposite and meditate on forms. It goes full-circle in the end. You can traverse the circles from either direction.

Transcend and include. That's what you must do with science. You don't abandon it. Of course material developments help with spiritual development. If done properly.

The whole, nice guys finish last. There is truth in that. The reward is not just sex, but the relationship itself. There can't be a relationship without the sex first. I have lost plenty of girls who I wanted relationships with but the sex never happened therefore the relationship never happened either. Except it doesn't necessarily come. Women are fickle and change their moods and minds easily. So dragging it out means you will lose some girls. That may be acceptable, but it can also be very frustrating because you get invested in it.

Obviously attraction is relative. Whatever your perfect 10 happens to be, it is that FOR YOU, not for everyone. Not everyone is looking for the same things. This actually makes attraction a bit easier. If you talk to enough people chances are really high that one of them will love you.

Of course it can be afforded. The issue is one of misplaced priorities.

You can certainly experience empty or formless consciousness/awareness/being. But also, form = formlessness, so don't fall into the trap of thinking that formlessness is above form. Consciousness/awareness is Nothing. But you can "experience" this Nothing, for lack of a better word. If you've ever had a dream in which you die, perhaps you can recall the formless consciousness that remains after all the images have stopped.

It's possible the same way anything is possible: you dream it up. Of course there is no gaurantee your dreams will correspond with your other dreams. But also they might. Dreams are strange things.

This is the logic of a fucking devil. To me it matters very much. Not because it matters to others, but because that is not how I want my work to be. But will you be able to live with yourself? Integrity in this work is crucial. Spirituality cannot be anything-goes.

Of course. Truth cannot be a choice. Truth can only be a tautology. 1 = 1, A = A. Everything is precisely whatever it is. And to fully accept that is Love. It's only the ego-mind that needs things to be otherwise than whatever they are. Peace can only come with tautology, when there is no choice. Choice is stress, not peace.

Firstly, good work on your thoroughness. That's some serious effort. Sorry, so long, couldn't read it all. However, to answer: 1) Yes it is possible to take psychedelics in your dreams and have even deeper trips than taking them in "real life". I have done that. But I did have lots of prior psychedelic experience. However, it's not like the insights in the dream trip are exact same as the insights in the normal trip. They can be significantly different. It's hard to say if they correspond because 5-MeO is experienced quite differently by different people. But generally what you're describing in within the ballpark. I have had some mystical realizations within my dreams which just don't correspond to any kind of psychedelic, but they are still legit realizations and some are very powerful and exotic. Of course you should expect such a thing to be possible when everything is a dream. Physical DMT is dream stuff. 2) No, I would reserve Heaven/Nivrana/Paradise for even higher states. Imagine drowning in Infinite Love so deep it has no form and it never ends. That might be a better description of Heaven/Nirvana/Paradise. Or imagine just raw infinite pleasure forever. That might be closer to Heaven.
