Flagmatic - Sam Wise from Lord of the Rings

Devoting himself to a cause
A greater cause
To take his own selfishness
His own ego and put it to the side
For the greater good

He was courageous
But he wasn't the real hero
He was the sidekick
He didn't get any credit
And he was okay with that
