Jeffrey Sachs: elite insider gone rouge

I’ve been listening to Jeffrey Sachs. He is an academic and famous economist who for decades has consulted with many different governments on their economy and is well connected in the elite.

Initially in his career he was a neoliberal economist who supported mainstream U.S. policy. However he’s gone rogue and is basically exposing the establishment in a completely coherent way. He’s saying extremely critical things about government operations that aren’t really discussed by other insiders or on the mainstream media. 

some examples, according to him:

The US purposefully sabotaged Russia and China to maintain hegemony and expand NATO aggressively

Scientists were purposefully lying about COVID’s origins being natural and attempts to investigate if COVID was the result of joint U.S. and China virus research is being blocked by Democrats

 Israel’s government is openly involved in ethnic cleansing and the entire international order wants to create two states with a UN peace keeping force but the U.S. is blocking it

The education sector world wide is completely underfunded and failing 

Syria’s civil war was a covert operation by the US for regime change 

He’s also essentially claimed the US government is a plutocracy and foreign policy is captured by the military industrial complex which is seeking a conflict with Russia and China.

 

What I find interesting about him is that he’s saying very shocking or even apocalyptic things but he actually isn’t fringe, he is well connected with many governments and involved in their policies especially in the third world due to his expertise.
