Happy to learn more about Malta. I visited the country many years ago and really enjoyed the military christian architecture. Normally or you have a military design or a religious/christian design but Malta has a unique blend of military religious architecture that I enjoyed very much.

It's probably the country with the best stairs of the world. As it was for centuries a heavily militarized zone, people used to wear heavy armor arround the city. Poorly built stairs were a huge problem as ankle sprain were common among soldiers. This lead to an altogether peculiar detail on stair design that has been carried up to modern times. It seems stupid but Maltese people really have superb stairs. I haven't been able to look stairs in the same way after going to Malta.

I also talked with an elderly man in the street. He explained me how everything was much better when the british were arround. To which a young girl walking by said, oh yes the same old discourse. It was funny to understand the politics of such a country and see that many things correlate among nations.

Also be careful, don't go drinking tap water on your hotel or you could end up staying there for the rest of your vacations!

It's a good place for tourism but it's a little island, so you may feel claustrophobic if you stay too much.

I think it's the so-called "normal" people that are queer. These people usually seem so happy and free.

Very Good documentary but focus more on the people than on the director. In Italian is a bit better, it is also in spanish as voice track

@Leo Gura Tell me about how you are going about Leo's Geography Challenge. Are you taking notes? What do they look like? What do you note down?

Where do you draw the line of depth?

Do you Limit yourself to just 1 documentary?

What if you are not satisfied with what information that specific documentary provided?

All these countries is an insanely interconnected Holon, I was wondering at what depth do you stop.

How many years back do you go?

How much do you look into the several links of information that are referenced?

For example, Christopher Columbus is noted as an important point, Now I'm thinking about reading his article and watching a documentary on him, This shit is endless. There is so much lore on this planet.

I feel like I am following my curiosity as far as it wants down the rabbit hole.

I think I may just write a little paragraph of information on each one.

I wonder how much of my mind will interconnect all the dots.

I forgive my past, I release the future, and I honor how I feel in the present.

More on Varanasi. I'm fascinated with the city. I'll go there before I die, little places have captivated my attention for so many years like Varanasi

I was hoping to visit El Salvador this year with my sister and her husband who is from there. Unfortunately, the trip fell through, but I watched a handful of videos about El Salvador to prepare for the trip. The crackdown on crime has been incredibly successful, but it seems to be at a cost. Maybe President Bukele is an exception, but I wonder if the mass incarcerations will become unsustainable and will he plan to stay in power at all costs like pretty much all dictators do.
