Insight about the human mind

3 posts in this topic

The human mind is the next step to physical evolution through the gene. All evolution is driven by competition, the struggle to survive. Through this struggle, life, which is the reality having an experience, passes from photosynthetic bacteria to elephants.

Life competes against itself in a fight to the death, in which there is only one rule: survive. Anything is allowed. Killing is absolutely legitimate and desirable. It is the basis of life. The goal of life is to experiment, and the struggle gives the necessary drive for creation. Suffering and death are simply tools of creation. From this competition the gene grows in complexity creating magnificent designs, different experiences, but always limited by matter. Evolution is slow, each generation contributes its grain of sand.

The human mind is life that has been freed from matter in a stroke of genius. The mind is life, its impulse, its evolutionary thrust is the same as that of life. But it is not limited, since it is not "something". The ego mind is the stream of thought that each individual constantly and uninterruptedly creates. This flow has the same bases as any other form of life, it is a survival tool. It distinguishes, like any form of life, between good/life and evil/death. Through language, the mind communicates with other minds, modifying each other and creating a common mind. like a cloned bacterium, ideas are cloned. If collaboration is adequate to promote survival, the idea that collaboration is desirable and individualism undesirable will be cloned and spread at great speed among the mental streams of individuals.

This idea is supported by survival, so it has enormous force: the force of life. In harsh environments, the ideas that will develop will be rigidity, uniformity, loyalty to the group, individual sacrifice. In softer environments, ideas will soften. The evolution of the collective mind is fast since it is not limited and ideas with development potential are continuously disseminated, modifying the mental flows that receive them quickly.

The human mind is ultimately the reality, and as such has the potential to fully comprehend reality, since it is the reality. Animals also have a mind, they are  mind, experience, just like humans, but a mind tied to the physical, dominated by instincts, tied to the gene. The human mind has been released from the physical, it has freed itself and is an entity that evolves independently of the physical, that is why it has the ability to turn inward and see

By default the human mind is completely focused on the evolving flux of though, as this is what it primarily exists for, to be a serial processor that receives, processes and transmits information to favour the survival. In certain cases, some units have the vital impulse due exceptional circumstances to stop the flow of thought that defines the exterior and favors adaptation to the environment and turn inward to look at themselves. This impulse, as most of impulses, is done by suffering and fear.

The first step is to be able to remove the mind from the bubble created by the flow, which consumes most of its capacity, and to be able to focus. Establish itself in the now by eliminating the past and future, which are fundamental ideas for the structure of the mental flow, and thus be able to look at itself, into the unfathomable abyss within itself, which is the totality of existence, and understand it. The reason? Because the reality wants it, like everything else.

I think the 5 koshas in Yoga also aid your insight. In fact, they sort of provide an evolutionary road map.

First the physical body, then the energetic body, then the emotions + thoughts, then the ability to discern and then bliss.

I mean you have got to be curious, if after the physical body comes the mind (in a bubble controlled by survival), which through suffering evolves to a mind that looks inwards (ability to discern), what would come after that?

the mind has to take a important step, switch to another frequency. looking within is not to analyze oneself but to break the conceptual bubble and open up to unlimited breadth, peek into the truth of existence and be one with it. Only in this way will the human being stop being a maladjusted and suffering entity, and will be able to reach his true potential.
