Peter Pan Complex Treatment

4 posts in this topic

so i have this peter pan syndrome, very attached to childhood, not wanting to grow up,i have problems taking up responsibilities,i like childhood and adolescent stuff, like cartoons, sci fi,porn etc instead of mature things.i am lazy, feel like adult life is stupid and boring,i like dabbling and reading stuff and be jack of all trades despite of being master of one trade,i suck and dread towards discipline, live in the past at the cost of my future.though i work in a hospital as a junior physician,i m not motivated to be a good doctor but just finish my job,go home, see cartoons and childish stuff and stay alone by myself.

please help guys i m destroying my life, but i think i m narssisstic about myself and I cant stop destroying myself.I cant focus on my career, relationships and I lack maturity. Please help me gain maturity and put an end to my complexities and get productive.

thhanks

It is so important to be in touch with your inner child, rather than repressing it.  Maybe you weren't meant to be a Doctor, and need to be self-honest about whether or not you have the integrity to actually go deep with it?  Maybe you were meant to be a healer of a different sort.  Or a nurse or a commedian or a part time nurse/commedian.  Maybe you were meant to be a Doctor, but need to go on a meditation retreat first so you can feel the full depth of the equanimity required.

Inner child is important to understand egoic mindset and principles taught.

If you could talk tou your inner child before 1st traumatic experience what you tell yourself is the greatest version. Only lead and let go. Create yourself from the start and reconize the pattern to now.

Find your present being now and release emotion from old pain. Find the love in now.

The inner child speaks as you close a door to not listen. If you open that door and listen tje inner child speaks softly. Expresses self. Feel the hurt and find the love.

Trust in yourself. Innerself. Child self.
