Strange Coincidence: The Fray

4 posts in this topic

Yesterday I was jamming to the Fray 3 songs over and over and over again having deeply spiritual experiences. Just crying tears of infinite love. Yesterday I also had a 5meo like experience while doing my Qigong. Anyway.

3 Songs:

1. You Found me

2. Over my Head

3. How To Save a Life

The fray is great.

While listening to it I had thing Image that Leo also jams to this kind of music. Perhaps because the singer is bald too idk ahaha. Anyway, Good taste Leo xD

I find I was listening to the music, contemplating my life purpose, relativity... the love I have for all people, cultures etc and the difficulties they are all facing. Just imagining the love in my heart washing over it all. Just love, love love. Just washing away all the pain, confusion and problems people have with my love. Plus, this sense I had to overcome all the challenges that I am currently facing in the name of love. Perhaps the fantasy of the absolute unconditional "I Got you" and the "Forever Friend".

Leo just so happened to post it on his blog yesterday ahaha. Interesting synchronicity.

It's love.

Step one, you say we need to talk
He walks, you say sit down, it's just a talk
He smiles politely back at you
You stare politely right on through
Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left, and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
You begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong?
I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Let him know that you know best
'Cause after all, you do know best
Try to slip past his defense
Without granting innocence
Lay down a list of what is wrong
The things you've told him all along
And pray to God he hears you
And I pray to God he hears you

And where did I go wrong?
I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you'll begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong?
I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Where did I go wrong?
I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

How to save a life
How to save a life

Where did I go wrong?
I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Where did I go wrong?
I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

How to save a life
How to save a life

I love the fray too. I've only really listened to the how to save a life album, but the song how to save a life is so nostalgic to me because I used to always hear it playing as a kid. That song and a bunch of other songs on that album have this really comforting and loving feel to them, and I've felt so much love and cried so much listening to them

@Tristan12 Yeah, I think its the love... So much love coming from the fray in the feeling of the music above and beyond the music. The Fray's music is greater than the sum of it's parts.

Idk, lately I've been feeling such massive amounts of love in my heart. I cry tears of joy all the time. I haven't been tripping or anything. Just lots of Qigong, reading, and working on my life.

I am also reading a book called "Fixed" The fine art of problem solving which talks about Art and its ability to heal, and reveal so much about ourselves (biases, preferences, things about society, etc). Anyway. Very interesting.

That's really interesting, what have you gotten from it so far?
