Virtual Reality + Psychedelics

3 posts in this topic

Do you think you could make some kind of interactive VR movie for psychedelic trips that would make it easier to get certain insights? Maybe some interactive journey to realize absolute love. Also imagine you had a lot of money to build something visually incredible. I think about the movie interstellar. VR is great because it really feels like you are in there and combine that with psychedelics and I think you could get really lost in that world (good in this case).

Psychedelics loosen the boundaries of your mind, I am curious how a VR Movie could do the same. Psychedelics interact with the chemicals in your body. Unless this VR movie did something similar I doubt it could have the same effects. So you would need to make a VR movie that interacts with the chemicals in your body to produce changes in consciousness.

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.

The problem is the "you" that's in there. Unfortunately VR doesn't touch that. You're already in VR.

Cheers

Yeah sure but maybe it can lead me to it. When it’s really entertaining you might be motivated to be more concentrated/aware -> higher possibility for mystical experience.
