Pushing past your comfort zone

Self Help advice: How do you deal with your mind's resistance in stepping outside its comfort zone?

Success often requires doing things that directly conflict with our comforts in life. Your mind is king at psyching itself out not to stretch and charter unknown waters. How do you face this in your journey of personal development?

For me, it is acting from inspiration rather than force/fear/obligation. When you act from your highest desire and inspiration, you are positively motivated to achieve your goal. It’s about going after what you love rather than avoided what you hate. You will find resistance lower significantly if you choose the former.

True. But is it done out of love or fear? Be clear on that distinction.

Success to me is simply being able to do what you love most.

All Teachers and Teachings are delusion. You have all the answers within you. The first step on the journey to Enlightenment is questioning all the beliefs and teachings you have ever received. Teachers/Teachings are a distraction/maya at the highest level. There comes a point where you need to trust in your own innate knowledge and derive your own insights into the nature of reality. Teachers make a living and lifestyle of selling you water by the river. You don’t need them. All you need is an insatiable desire for truth and then seriously contemplate reality and uncover all that is false.
