For those interested in economy here is non-biased views of what is going on at big scale.

Putin is passé, he served his country well but its time for the next generation. A leader who is more in touch with the modern world and not stuck in archaic ideologies and views on the world. The world has passed Putin by and this invasion is a last convulsion of a man who has not learned to let go.

You are looking it one sided. It doesn't matter modern or not, archaic ideologies are always here, for scientific minded people  immortality is one of it. I am not saying it's bad or good but that is the trajectory we are moving along with. Yeah as globe next generation(90s) is the key in our future  but we need a diversity among them or we will endup in sameness in all decisions.
