At times, self-pity may be valid but, more often than not, it proves to be a disempowering attitude. It can prevent individuals from noticing, owning, and correcting what they do. This emotion can easily devolve into a self-oriented, victimized disposition, whereas adopting an objective and dispassionate stance would be a more appropriate response.

How much of what you do at any given time is on purpose, and how often does it fail to align with that purpose? Notice the discrepancies between the two.

I've never been particularly interested in Souls-like games or medieval themes in general, but I'm going to give Skyrim and Elden Ring a try. They seem fun.
