Recently stumbled upon this greatly underrated tantric (Kashmir Shaivism) teacher. Check this one out (especially at the end where he mentions that being infinitely ignorant is part of the deal when in Brahman). You cannot ever get rid of the ego. You only expand. That's where the notion of ignorance plays it role. We can only expand due to ignorance.

And this one here is truly powerful. As a tantric teacher he realizes how crucial it is to raise body/energetic awareness (Shakti) to reach Shiva. Realization can only be embodied at the level of the body (Duh!).

It's true. Ego in fact is the greatest thing you have, if you know how to grow. 

It is what makes us human in the end of the day, in a good way.
