The Seven Stages of Alchemy

I am now beginning to become immensely interested in Alchemy, Hermeticism, Sacred Geometry, and Astrology. From simply glossing over Alchemy, I realize that it is solely focused on self-actualization, and to embark on the alchemical journey means becoming an "ascended" or simply put, a high-consciousness human being. 

How do you all feel about it? I'm very interested and I'll be studying the works of Thoth (Emerald Tablets) and Hermetica to delve deeper for the sake of understanding and growth.
