Should I Buy a house Out right or Mortgage

If I buy a small house outright I can spend more time on my life purpose not having to worry about paying a monthly mortgage or try to buy a couple houses to rent but then I will have to keep a steady job. Thoughts?

It might depend how old you are. It's easier to move out of a rented place and you can forget about certain things like maintenance of the property since they're handled for you. However renting from a shitty landlord is a terrible experience too, so you should be aware of that

If you want to maintain some flexibility in your life I would say renting is better. That is my opinion and what I'm doing. I'm only 22 though so I would not take my opinion to seriously as it isn't something I have a lot of experience with
