I agree, namely a psychiatrist. It can be really transformative!

I doubt that this has to do with your diet tbh,

Wanting to sleep forever and escape reality is a classic sign of depression.

Becoming vegan increased my energy level, meditation and mindfulness help a lot, and self-acceptance.

These helped me a lot although there is still huge work to do...

I had the same problem. What helped me?

- regular exercises 

- to my mind nutrition doesn’t matter if without excess

-Sleep schedule and quality of rest. I made a detailed schedule and most importantly a bought a big recliner instead of my old chair. You can look for suitable options for you on Amazon or sites like this

- Try to find a hobby  or smth what excites you

- There are a lot of reasons to wake up, trust me^_^

Yea depression could be true.

But if you're TSH are above 10 and T3 and T4 low, well you got hypothyroidism, which lowers your energy levels dramatically.

May be you need to follow below tips to get complete sleep.

 

1. Regular excersice 

2. Avoid nicotine

3. Increase bright light exposure

4. Reduce long daytime naps

5. Use soft recline , sofa or best to cure body pain 

6. Timely sleeps matter a lot

7. Drink juice before sleep

Are you actually getting good sleep or is it noisy you wake up frequently etc?

To find out:

check your thyroid check your cortisol levels (doctor) 

buy a oura ring and track your sleep
