As expected, I guess. I've seen communities revolving around the brew here in the Czech Republic; they are mostly a mix of Green which is extremely repulsive toward real spirituality and simplistic Purple which revolves around traditions, the elders' ways, the kin and the sacred spirits. Besides, Ayahuasca is a serious business. People would rather kiss the feet of a shaman than undertake the journey themselves. 

I would say a 12-hour brew is well worth the $30 for all ingredients.
