The greatest spiritual battle

The greatest spiritual battle you will find on the path is accepting the loss of your material world. I think this is really taken for granted. You will lose physicality. If you’re someone who enjoys materialism, you may not be ready for this transition into the realm of spirit, consciousness and selflessness. Your ego will resist the process and once you permanently kill materialism you will have no way back. You will be all alone in a new paradigm with nobody to talk to. Once you learn to function in this new state of consciousness, you will appreciate it but you will also realise it can’t be discussed to others. You just see things how they actually are.

Yep, when you stay honest, food doesn't fill you up anymore. An orgasm doesn't give what the mind promises. All these are still enjoyable, but enjoyment itself shifts drastically. The transition is pure grief though..
