Oneness is not Sameness

4 posts in this topic

Oneness can look like anything. Home can look like anything. Does it feel like home though? That's a question that requires a great amount of self-honesty.

Is the feeling of hate, anger or sadness really the same as the feeling of love, peace and compassion - in your direct experience?

It's all One. But not the same.

I have experienced extreme levels of both segregation and unity. I find that to be my strength, if you will. Needless to say, I also fell into a lot of traps along the way. One of those is what I wish to mention here.

It's that vibration of "I am already it, so who gives a fuck about anything". If you believe in tricks, this is a big one.

A treasure fit for fools.

Self-righteousness truly shines in this spot. Arrogance is your main weapon of choice. May all see just how little fucks you give. May all kneel before your throne as you declare yourself to be the one and only holder of Truth. The Almighty. The all-seeing. The all-knowing.

After all...they're all asleep...and you're awake, right? Who could ever prove you wrong? There's no one here but you, right?

Until one day you kick yourself in the balls hard and fall down on your knees in front of everyone.

Dethroned and uncrowned.

It's God's punchline. He's laughing his ass off, while you struggle to catch your breath and remember your name. Pain and agony made you forget it, not love. So you see, there is, after all; difference. Regardless of everything being made of the same "substance".

Do you think your ability to make a distinction is an accident? Or an error?

Do you think not being able to tell a difference between your mouth and your asshole is what Oneness is? Only if you die laughing, I imagine.

Do you think there is no reason why your voice does not sound the same as your mother's?

Do you think difference and distinction equals separation and delusion?

Do you think Oneness equals Sameness?

If you do; you have been compromised by a treasure that was fit for fools.

In other words; you fell into a nasty trap, my friend. And you don't even realize it.

That's what happens when you see something that you are unable to comprehend and interpret it correctly, let alone communicate it. That's what's called spiritual immaturity.

It's as if enlightenment was literally a 16 year old teen. It's loud, cocky, distasteful and more often than not; disrespectful. But really just vulnerable, lost and confused - beneath it all.

It's just a phase.

If you are a quick learner... you will humble yourself back to the ground. Back to the centre of your being. You will drop the false sense of superiority.

If you are stubborn and cocky... well... be ready for that kick in the balls.

Except that you can never really be ready ;)

Can you treat everyone and everything as if they were just as awake and just as conscious as you are? Not more, not less. Exactly as you are. Every passing moment.

Can you have a conversation with God dressed up as a complete stranger that's passing by you?

Can you see the Light in it all, in us all?

Isn't it funny how committed God is to this game? Isn't it hilarious how strictly God sticks to the scenario? The dream? The story?

God rarely ever breaks character.Thinking that's an accident...is another trap.

You are not bigger than anything. Nothing is bigger than You.
