Escaping into life

How do we escape into life?

Just been working on mindfulness meditation practices. This is from Shinzen Youngs work. 

What is "real"? When we say that's really bugging me, what do we mean, really? Do we mean, that's intense for me, so much so, that I can't seem to let go.

When we escape into life, we become aware of the thought, feeling or sensation so much so we become the thought, feeling or sensation. 

So this thought, feeling or sensation becomes "real". But when it becomes real, it actually drops away. It becomes.... nothing.

So we become real and nothing at the same time. 

When we escape, we are getting away from. If we are escaping into life what are we doing? Being real, and being nothing. 

Just wanted to put it out there.
